WATCH: A quick thinking officer springs into action to help a choking driver, quickly performing the Heimlich maneuver to save her life.

Last month, Cook County Sheriff’s Office deputy Zachary Finn sprang into action to help a driver who was choking in Ford Heights. He performed the Heimlich maneuver, dislodging the item stuck in her throat. She was seen by paramedics after the incident. She declined further medical treatment and was able to safely drive away. Hats off to Officer Finn for his quick thinking and life-saving actions!
