Rest in Peace, Sergeant Thomas Duran of the El Reno Police Department in Oklahoma. End of Watch: October 24, 2025.

Sergeant Duran served for 14 years and was previously a detention officer with the Edmond Police Department. He is survived by his wife and children.

NEW: Suspect with a lengthy rap sheet arrested for alleged Pam Bondi “murder-for-hire” scheme according to the FBI.

A Minnesota man is facing federal charges after court docs say he posted a TikTok offering a $45K bounty for the murder of AG Pam Bondi. According to the affidavit, he posted a picture of Bondi with a red sniper-scope dot on her forehead and the caption "WANTED: Pam Bondi — REWARD: $45,000 — DEAD OR ALIVE (Preferably Dead)."

A San Bernardino County sheriff's deputy was hospitalized after being shot in Rancho Cucamonga Monday afternoon.

The shooting was reported at about 12:37 p.m. at the 12300 block of Hollyhock Drive, in Rancho Cucamonga.

The deputy's condition is unknown.

Dramatic video of a suspect wanted in a shooting of a Sheriff’s Deputy having a horrific crash on the 210fwy earlier today.

The suspect could be seen with a firearm while on the bike just prior to his crash, possibly ready to shoot other officers. 2 firearms could be seen near the crash. The suspect was conscious and has been airlifted to a trauma center.

North Carolina: A bystander likely saved an officer’s life during a knife-wielding assault at a Cookout Sunday evening, the Salisbury Police Department said.

Officers responded to the restaurant on East Innes Street around 8:15 p.m. for a disturbance call.

When officers arrived, police said they found the suspect, identified as Jamie Hunt, 44, armed with a knife.

“A struggle ensued,” according to a release. That’s when Hunt began swinging the knife, injuring one officer.

An officer used a Taser to subdue Hunt, who was then taken into custody. Everyone involved was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
