وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ
﴿الانفِطَارِ؜ ١٠﴾

And indeed there are some guardians over you.
{An interpretation of "Al-Infitaar: The Cleaving", Sura 82 Aya 10}

إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ
﴿الحِجۡرِ؜ ٣١﴾

Except Iblis (Satan); he refused to be among those who prostrated.
{An interpretation of "Al-Hijr: The Rock", Sura 15 Aya 31}

وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍۢ فَحَيُّوا۟ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَآ أَوْ رُدُّوهَآ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَسِيبًا
﴿النِّسَاءِ؜ ٨٦﴾

And when you are greeted with some words, greet back with words better than it or with the same; indeed Allah will take account of everything.
{An interpretation of "An-Nisaa: The Women", Sura 4 Aya 86}

۞ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَىِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُۥ وَثُلُثَهُۥ وَطَآئِفَةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَكَ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَٱقْرَءُوا۟ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ ۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَىٰ ۙ وَءَاخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ ۙ وَءَاخَرُونَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ فَٱقْرَءُوا۟ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ ۚ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍۢ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًۭا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًۭا ۚ وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۢ
﴿المُزَّمِّلِ؜ ٢٠﴾

Indeed your Lord knows that you stand up in prayer, sometimes almost two-thirds of the night, and sometimes half the night or sometimes a third of it – and also a group of those along with you; Allah keeps measure of the night and day; He knows that you, O Muslims, will not be able to measure the night, so He has inclined towards you with mercy – therefore recite from the Qur’an as much as is easy for you; He knows that soon some of you will fall ill, and some will travel in the land seeking the munificence of Allah, and some will be fighting in Allah’s cause; therefore recite from the Qur’an as much as is easy for you, and establish prayer and pay the obligatory charity, and lend an excellent loan to Allah; and whatever good you send ahead for yourselves, you will find it with Allah, better and having a great reward; and seek forgiveness from Allah; indeed Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.
{An interpretation of "Al-Muzzammil: The Enshrouded One", Sura 73 Aya 20}

مَا كَانَ لِنَبِىٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَسْرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثْخِنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ
﴿الأَنفَالِ؜ ٦٧﴾

It does not befit any Prophet to capture the disbelievers alive until he has profusely shed their blood in the land; you people desire the wealth of this world; and Allah wills the Hereafter, and Allah is Almighty, Wise.
{An interpretation of "Al-Anfaal: The Spoils of War", Sura 8 Aya 67}

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ
﴿الزُّخۡرُفِ؜ ٦٤﴾

“Allah is indeed my Lord, and yours – therefore worship Him; this is the Straight Path.”
{An interpretation of "Az-Zukhruf: Ornaments of gold", Sura 43 Aya 64}

لَّقَدْ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولَهُ ٱلرُّءْيَا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ لَتَدْخُلُنَّ ٱلْمَسْجِدَ ٱلْحَرَامَ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ءَامِنِينَ مُحَلِّقِينَ رُءُوسَكُمْ وَمُقَصِّرِينَ لَا تَخَافُونَ ۖ فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوا۟ فَجَعَلَ مِن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ فَتْحًۭا قَرِيبًا
﴿الفَتۡحِ؜ ٢٧﴾

Allah has indeed made the truthful dream of His Noble Messenger, come true; indeed you will all enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, in safety – with your heads shaven or hair cut short – without fear; so He knows what you do not know, and has therefore ordained another imminent victory before this.
{An interpretation of "Al-Fath: The Victory", Sura 48 Aya 27}

تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ
﴿الجَاثِيَةِ؜ ٢﴾

The sending down of the Book is from Allah, the Most Honourable, the Wise.
{An interpretation of "Al-Jaathiya: Crouching", Sura 45 Aya 2}

وَمَا ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
﴿الزُّخۡرُفِ؜ ٧٦﴾

And We did not oppress them at all, but they themselves were unjust.
{An interpretation of "Az-Zukhruf: Ornaments of gold", Sura 43 Aya 76}

وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
﴿الصَّافَّاتِ؜ ١٧٥﴾

And watch them, for they will soon see.
{An interpretation of "As-Saaffaat: Those drawn up in Ranks", Sura 37 Aya 175}

ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّهُۥٓ إِذَا دُعِىَ ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُۥ كَفَرْتُمْ ۖ وَإِن يُشْرَكْ بِهِۦ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚ فَٱلْحُكْمُ لِلَّهِ ٱلْعَلِىِّ ٱلْكَبِيرِ
﴿غَافِرٍ؜ ١٢﴾

“This has occurred because when Allah the One was prayed to, you used to disbelieve; and when a partner was ascribed with Him, you used to believe; so the command is only for Allah, the Supreme, the Great.”
{An interpretation of "Ghafir: The Forgiver", Sura 40 Aya 12}

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ
﴿الطَّارِقِ؜ ١﴾

By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver.
{An interpretation of "At-Taariq: The Morning Star", Sura 86 Aya 1}

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ ٱلْمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌۭ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌۭ
﴿فَاطِرٍ؜ ٣٥﴾

“The One Who has, by His munificence, established us in a place of serenity; in which no hardship shall ever reach us nor any fatigue affect us.”
{An interpretation of "Faatir: The Originator", Sura 35 Aya 35}

۞ هَٰذَانِ خَصْمَانِ ٱخْتَصَمُوا۟ فِى رَبِّهِمْ ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌۭ مِّن نَّارٍۢ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ ٱلْحَمِيمُ
﴿الحَجِّ؜ ١٩﴾

These are the two groups who fought concerning their Lord; so those who disbelieved – garments of fire have been fashioned for them; and boiling water will be poured onto their heads.
{An interpretation of "Al-Hajj: The Pilgrimage", Sura 22 Aya 19}

وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
﴿الدُّخَانِ؜ ٢﴾

By oath of this clear Book.
{An interpretation of "Ad-Dukhaan: The Smoke", Sura 44 Aya 2}

وَلَقَدِ ٱخْتَرْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
﴿الدُّخَانِ؜ ٣٢﴾

And We knowingly chose them, among all others of their time.
{An interpretation of "Ad-Dukhaan: The Smoke", Sura 44 Aya 32}

وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
﴿الوَاقِعَةِ؜ ١٠﴾

And those who surpassed have indeed excelled.
{An interpretation of "Al-Waaqia: The Inevitable", Sura 56 Aya 10}

فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا
﴿الذَّارِيَاتِ؜ ٤﴾

Then by oath of those which distribute by the command.
{An interpretation of "Adh-Dhaariyat: The Winnowing Winds", Sura 51 Aya 4}

ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ
﴿البَقَرَةِ؜ ٢٧﴾

Those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it – and sever what Allah has ordered to join, and who cause turmoil (evil / religious chaos) in the earth; it is they who are the losers.
{An interpretation of "Al-Baqara: The Cow", Sura 2 Aya 27}

وَقَالُوٓا۟ ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ ۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًۢا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ
﴿الزُّخۡرُفِ؜ ٥٨﴾

And they say, “Are our deities better or he?” They did not say this to you except to unjustly argue; in fact they are a quarrelsome people.
