وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَٰهُ نَعْمَآءَ بَعْدَ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ ذَهَبَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتُ عَنِّىٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَفَرِحٌۭ فَخُورٌ
﴿هُودٍ؜ ١٠﴾

And if We bestow upon him the enjoyment of a favour after a misfortune that had befallen him, he will surely say, “The evils have gone away from me”; indeed he is jubilant, boastful.
{An interpretation of "Hud: Hud", Sura 11 Aya 10}

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَقْبَلُ ٱلتَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
﴿الشُّورَىٰ؜ ٢٥﴾

And it is He Who accepts repentance from His bondmen, and pardons sins*, and knows all your deeds. (Repentance for the cardinal sins, while lesser sins are wiped out by good deeds.)
{An interpretation of "Ash-Shura: Consultation", Sura 42 Aya 25}

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًۭا نُّوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ ۖ فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
﴿الأَنبِيَاءِ؜ ٧﴾

And We did not send (Prophets) before you except men, to whom We sent divine revelations – therefore, O people, ask the people of knowledge if you do not know.
{An interpretation of "Al-Anbiyaa: The Prophets", Sura 21 Aya 7}

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
﴿الشُّعَرَاءِ؜ ١٠٨﴾

“Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.”
{An interpretation of "Ash-Shu'araa: The Poets", Sura 26 Aya 108}

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَٰلًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ أَكْنَٰنًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ ٱلْحَرَّ وَسَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأْسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ
﴿النَّحۡلِ؜ ٨١﴾

And Allah has provided you shade with the things He has created, and created for you refuge in the hills, and created some clothing for you to protect you from the heat, and some clothing to protect you during conflict; this is how He completes His favour upon you, so that you may obey.
{An interpretation of "An-Nahl: The Bee", Sura 16 Aya 81}

فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُبِينِ
﴿النَّمۡلِ؜ ٧٩﴾

Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth.
{An interpretation of "An-Naml: The Ant", Sura 27 Aya 79}

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزًّۭا
﴿مَرۡيَمَ؜ ٨٣﴾

Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly?
{An interpretation of "Maryam: Mary", Sura 19 Aya 83}

إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْنَآ أَنَّ ٱلْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
﴿طه؜ ٤٨﴾

‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’”
{An interpretation of "Taa-Haa: Taa-Haa", Sura 20 Aya 48}

وَقَالَ رَجُلٌۭ مُّؤْمِنٌۭ مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيمَٰنَهُۥٓ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَن يَقُولَ رَبِّىَ ٱللَّهُ وَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَكُ كَٰذِبًۭا فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُۥ ۖ وَإِن يَكُ صَادِقًۭا يُصِبْكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى يَعِدُكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌۭ كَذَّابٌۭ
﴿غَافِرٍ؜ ٢٨﴾

And said a Muslim man from the people of Firaun, who used to hide his faith, “What! You want to kill a man just because he says, ‘Allah is my Lord’ whereas he has indeed brought clear signs to you from your Lord? And supposedly if he is speaking wrongly, then the calamity of wrongful speech is upon him; and if he is truthful, then part of what he promises you will reach you; indeed Allah does not guide any transgressor, excessive liar.”
{An interpretation of "Ghafir: The Forgiver", Sura 40 Aya 28}

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةًۭ فَٱثْبُتُوا۟ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًۭا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
﴿الأَنفَالِ؜ ٤٥﴾

O People who Believe! When you meet an army, hold firm and remember Allah profusely, in order that you succeed.
{An interpretation of "Al-Anfaal: The Spoils of War", Sura 8 Aya 45}

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
﴿النَّازِعَاتِ؜ ٣٤﴾

So when the greatest universal disaster arrives,
{An interpretation of "An-Naazi'aat: Those who drag forth", Sura 79 Aya 34}

لِّيُعَذِّبَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَٱلْمُشْرِكَٰتِ وَيَتُوبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۢا
﴿الأَحۡزَابِ؜ ٧٣﴾

In order that Allah may punish the hypocrite men, and the hypocrite women, and the polytheist men, and the polytheist women – and accept the repentance of believing men and believing women; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.
{An interpretation of "Al-Ahzaab: The Clans", Sura 33 Aya 73}

مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُۥ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
﴿الأَنۡعَامِ؜ ١٦﴾

Indeed Allah’s mercy has been upon him, from whom the punishment has been averted on that Day; and this is the clear success.
{An interpretation of "Al-An'aam: The Cattle", Sura 6 Aya 16}

فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۢ
﴿الغَاشِيَةِ؜ ١٠﴾

In a high Garden.
{An interpretation of "Al-Ghaashiya: The Overwhelming", Sura 88 Aya 10}

أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هَدَىٰنِى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
﴿الزُّمَرِ؜ ٥٧﴾

Or (so that no soul) may say, “If Allah had shown me the right path, I would then be among the pious!”
{An interpretation of "Az-Zumar: The Groups", Sura 39 Aya 57}

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
﴿اللَّيۡلِ؜ ٩﴾

And denied the best matter,
{An interpretation of "Al-Lail: The Night", Sura 92 Aya 9}

فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌۢ بَعْضَ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَضَآئِقٌۢ بِهِۦ صَدْرُكَ أَن يَقُولُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ جَآءَ مَعَهُۥ مَلَكٌ ۚ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ نَذِيرٌۭ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَكِيلٌ
﴿هُودٍ؜ ١٢﴾

So will you forsake part of what is divinely revealed to you and be disheartened because they say, “Why has not a treasure been sent down along with him?”, or “An angel should have come with him”? You are purely a Herald of Warning*; and Allah is the Guardian over all things. (* Therefore do not grieve over their sayings.)
{An interpretation of "Hud: Hud", Sura 11 Aya 12}

فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِى ٱلنَّاقُورِ
﴿المُدَّثِّرِ؜ ٨﴾

So when the Trumpet will be blown.
{An interpretation of "Al-Muddaththir: The Cloaked One", Sura 74 Aya 8}

لَّا بَارِدٍۢ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ
﴿الوَاقِعَةِ؜ ٤٤﴾

Which is neither cool nor is for respect.
{An interpretation of "Al-Waaqia: The Inevitable", Sura 56 Aya 44}

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَسَلَكَهُۥ يَنَٰبِيعَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرْعًۭا مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصْفَرًّۭا ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ حُطَٰمًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
﴿الزُّمَرِ؜ ٢١﴾

Did you not see that it is Allah Who sent down water from the sky, and then with it made springs in the earth, and then with it produces crops of various colours, and then it dries up and you see it has become yellow, and He then fragments them into small pieces; indeed in this is a reminder for people of intellect.
{An interpretation of "Az-Zumar: The Groups", Sura 39 Aya 21}
