إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
﴿البَيِّنَةِ؜ ٧﴾

Indeed those who accepted faith and did good deeds – it is they who are the best among the creation.
{An interpretation of "Al-Bayyina: The Evidence", Sura 98 Aya 7}

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ ٱلْأُنثَىٰ
﴿النَّجۡمِ؜ ٢٧﴾

Indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter, coin the names of angels like those of females.
{An interpretation of "An-Najm: The Star", Sura 53 Aya 27}

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُوتِىَ مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰٓ ۚ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ قَالُوا۟ سِحْرَانِ تَظَٰهَرَا وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِكُلٍّۢ كَٰفِرُونَ
﴿القَصَصِ؜ ٤٨﴾

So when the Truth* from Us came to them, they said, “Why has he not been given what was given to Moosa?” Had they not disbelieved in what was earlier given to Moosa? They said, “They are two magicians, who support each other”; and said, “We disbelieve in both of them.” (* Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him).
{An interpretation of "Al-Qasas: The Stories", Sura 28 Aya 48}

وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ
﴿الشُّعَرَاءِ؜ ١٢٩﴾

“And prefer strong palaces, that perhaps you may live for ever?”
{An interpretation of "Ash-Shu'araa: The Poets", Sura 26 Aya 129}

فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
﴿صٓ؜ ٧٣﴾

So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception.
{An interpretation of "Saad: The letter Saad", Sura 38 Aya 73}

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّۭا ۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَمَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا وَاقٍۢ
﴿الرَّعۡدِ؜ ٣٧﴾

And similarly We have revealed this as a command in Arabic; and O listener (follower of this Prophet), if you follow their desires after the knowledge having come to you, then you will have neither a supporter nor any saviour against Allah.
{An interpretation of "Ar-Ra'd: The Thunder", Sura 13 Aya 37}

فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
﴿الذَّارِيَاتِ؜ ٤٤﴾

In response they rebelled against their Lord’s command, so the thunderbolt seized them whilst they were watching.
{An interpretation of "Adh-Dhaariyat: The Winnowing Winds", Sura 51 Aya 44}

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍۢ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ
﴿الحَاقَّةِ؜ ٤١﴾

And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe!
{An interpretation of "Al-Haaqqa: The Reality", Sura 69 Aya 41}

أَمَّا ٱلسَّفِينَةُ فَكَانَتْ لِمَسَٰكِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ فَأَرَدتُّ أَنْ أَعِيبَهَا وَكَانَ وَرَآءَهُم مَّلِكٌۭ يَأْخُذُ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ غَصْبًۭا
﴿الكَهۡفِ؜ ٧٩﴾

“In respect of the boat – it belonged to the poor people who worked on the river, so I wished to flaw it – and behind them was a king who would capture every sound ship.”
{An interpretation of "Al-Kahf: The Cave", Sura 18 Aya 79}

وَٱلَّذِى يُمِيتُنِى ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ
﴿الشُّعَرَاءِ؜ ٨١﴾

“And He will give me death, then resurrect me.”
{An interpretation of "Ash-Shu'araa: The Poets", Sura 26 Aya 81}

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَتُصْبِحُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مُخْضَرَّةً ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌۭ
﴿الحَجِّ؜ ٦٣﴾

Did you not see that Allah sent down water from the sky, so the earth became green at morn? Indeed Allah is Pure, Aware.
{An interpretation of "Al-Hajj: The Pilgrimage", Sura 22 Aya 63}

يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ ٱلصَّيْحَةَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُرُوجِ
﴿قٓ؜ ٤٢﴾

The day when all will hear the Scream with the truth; this is the day of coming out of the graves.
{An interpretation of "Qaaf: The letter Qaaf", Sura 50 Aya 42}

وَكَذَٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍۢ لِّيَقُولُوٓا۟ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنۢ بَيْنِنَآ ۗ أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
﴿الأَنۡعَامِ؜ ٥٣﴾

And similarly We have made some as a trial for others – that the wealthy disbelievers upon seeing the needy Muslims say, “Are these whom Allah has favoured among us?” Does not Allah recognise those who are thankful?
{An interpretation of "Al-An'aam: The Cattle", Sura 6 Aya 53}

وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًۭا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌۭ
﴿يسٓ؜ ٧٨﴾

And he invents an example for Us, while forgetting his own creation, saying, “Who is such that can revive the bones when they have completely rotted away?”
{An interpretation of "Yaseen: Yaseen", Sura 36 Aya 78}

وَإِذِ ٱعْتَزَلْتُمُوهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ فَأْوُۥٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلْكَهْفِ يَنشُرْ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ وَيُهَيِّئْ لَكُم مِّنْ أَمْرِكُم مِّرْفَقًۭا
﴿الكَهۡفِ؜ ١٦﴾

“And when you have disassociated yourself from them and all what they worship besides Allah – so take refuge in the Cave – your Lord will spread His mercy for you and arrange ease for you in your affairs.”
{An interpretation of "Al-Kahf: The Cave", Sura 18 Aya 16}

قَالَ لَا تَثْرِيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ يَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
﴿يُوسُفَ؜ ٩٢﴾

He said, “There is no reproach on you, this day! May Allah forgive you – and He is the Utmost Merciful, of all those who show mercy.”
{An interpretation of "Yusuf: Joseph", Sura 12 Aya 92}

وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌۭ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
﴿آلِ عِمۡرَانَ؜ ١٠٤﴾

And there should be a group among you that invites to goodness, and enjoins good deeds and forbids immorality; it is they who are the successful.
{An interpretation of "Aal-i-Imraan: The Family of Imraan", Sura 3 Aya 104}

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمْ تَفَسَّحُوا۟ فِى ٱلْمَجَٰلِسِ فَٱفْسَحُوا۟ يَفْسَحِ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا قِيلَ ٱنشُزُوا۟ فَٱنشُزُوا۟ يَرْفَعِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ دَرَجَٰتٍۢ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌۭ
﴿المُجَادلَةِ؜ ١١﴾

O People who Believe! When you are told to give room in the assemblies, then do give room – Allah will give you room (in His mercy); and when it is said, “Stand up in reverence”, then do stand up – Allah will raise the believers among you, and those given knowledge, to high ranks; and Allah is Aware of your deeds.
{An interpretation of "Al-Mujaadila: The Pleading Woman", Sura 58 Aya 11}

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سَٰبِقُونَ
﴿المُؤۡمِنُونَ؜ ٦١﴾

These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first.
{An interpretation of "Al-Muminoon: The Believers", Sura 23 Aya 61}

ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ
﴿آلِ عِمۡرَانَ؜ ٦٠﴾

O listener! (followers of this Prophet) This is the Truth from your Lord, so never be of those who doubt.
{An interpretation of "Aal-i-Imraan: The Family of Imraan", Sura 3 Aya 60}
