Nem Fam, feeling like you can’t get kills on The Crucible?
Well, while playing, equip a prop card, transform into something that would easily blend with the rest of the scene and wait for your opponents to pass by 👀
NASTY!
It also helps with this week’s weekly missions!

NEM FAM! Welcome to another vocab moment, this time all focused around gaming and its jargon 🎮
Today we are discovering what the ELO HELL is! READY? LET’S GOOO!
🟢DEFINITION🟢
Elo Hell is a concept that originated in chess (from the rating system invented by Árpád Élő) and was later adopted by the competitive gaming world, particularly in ranked multiplayer games across MOBAs, shooters, and battle arenas.
It refers to a specific tier of the ranking system (typically the low-to-mid range) where a player feels "stuck" not because of lacking skill, but due to factors completely outside their control: unreliable teammates, AFKs (players who abandon the match mid-game), trolls, or simply the chaotic nature of low-rank matches where coordination is nearly nonexistent.

🔸 The core debate: does Elo Hell actually exist, or is it just an excuse? The answer is: both. On one hand, it's statistically proven that a player who is significantly better than their current rank will tend to climb over time, because individual impact compensates for weaker teammates. On the other hand, factors like systematic trolling, algorithmically unbalanced matchmaking, and loss streaks (consecutive losing runs) can genuinely slow down or block progression.
🟢Concrete examples🟢
You play a near-perfect match — top damage, best stats on your team — but a teammate goes AFK at the halfway point. You lose. Your rank drops. Your skill didn't change, but your rating did.
You get into a match where two players on your team start trolling deliberately from minute one. There is nothing you can do individually to turn it around. You lose points you didn't deserve to lose.
You come back to a game after a few weeks off. The matchmaking system hasn't recalibrated yet, so it keeps placing you in unbalanced lobbies. You're clearly the better player, but the algorithm needs time to "find" your real rank again — and in the meantime, you keep losing.
The feeling of Elo Hell is therefore real as a subjective experience, even when the data suggests that a truly skilled player will eventually climb out if they persist long enough.

Nem Fam, quick question.
If you ate a whole π… would you become PI-MAN?
Because honestly, at this point we’re willing to try.
Happy #PiDay to everyone celebrating today! 🥧
