Former Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has died at the age of 85. Known for his moderate leadership and promotion of Islam Hadhari, Abdullah served from 2003 to 2009, leading Malaysia through a period of civil reform and international engagement. His passing was confirmed by his family on the evening of 14 April.
