Thank you everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes and presents!
Normally it's sort of conflicting feelings during my birthday --i have a hard time being the center of attention. I have a lot of issues with self worth.
But this year all of you just made me feel so genuinely loved, in an authentic way where I didn't need to put on my host mask and pretend I'm not disabled or not me. Just acceptance and kindness and validation and love.
In some ways, this was the most meaningful birthday in terms of the community I have built and friendships I fostered.
I wanted to showcase some of the beautiful art I was gifted.
