Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU), through its Educational Quality Assurance and Enhancement Directorate, organized an intensive Accreditation Management Information System (AMIS) training for academic staff from the Engineering and Applied Science programs. The training was delivered by experts from the Education and Training Authority (ETA) and focused on national program accreditation standards.

The MoU was initiated by the AI and Robotics Center of Excellence at AASTU with the aim of fostering joint initiatives, knowledge exchange, and practical innovation. Through this partnership, the two institutions will work together on research, capacity building, technology development, and the application of robotics and industrial automation solutions to address industry needs.
This collaboration is expected to enhance hands-on learning opportunities, promote innovation, and contribute to the advancement of robotics and automation technologies in Ethiopia.

Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) successfully hosted an insightful knowledge exchange session focused on the upcoming ERASMUS+ (CBHI) 2026 Grant Call, bringing together researchers and scholars within the university.
The workshop was organized by the HPC and Big Data Analytics (BDA) Center of Excellence, in collaboration with the College of Engineering Research and Technology Transfer Coordination Office, the Sustainable Energy Center of Excellence, and the AI and Robotics Center of Excellence. The session aimed to equip participants with practical, data-driven insights and hands-on guidance drawn from the experiences of seasoned Principal Investigators.
During the session, participants benefited from in-depth discussions on proposal preparation, consortium building, and strategic alignment with ERASMUS+ priorities.

የዓድዋ ድል መታሰቢያ የታሪክ እሴቶችን ጠብቆ ለማቆየትና የወል ትርክትን በምርምር ለመገንባት የሚያስችለውን የጋራ ስምምነት ከአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ፣ ከአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እንዲሁም ከኮተቤ የትምህርት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር ተፈራረመ።
በፊርማ ሥነ-ሥርዓቱ ላይ የዓድዋ ድል መታሰቢያ ዋና ዳይሬክተር ዮሴፍ ቤኮ (ዶ/ር) እንደገለጹት፤ የዓድዋ ድል የመላው ጥቁር ሕዝቦች ኩራትና የፓን አፍሪካኒዝም ምልክት ነው። ይህንን ታላቅ ታሪክ ለማስቀጠልና የወል ትርክትን ለመገንባት በጥናትና ምርምር ሥራዎች ላይ ትኩረት አድርጎ ከከፍተኛ የትምህርት ተቋማት ጋር በቅንጅት መሥራት አስፈላጊ መሆኑን አስገንዝበዋል።
የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዝዳንቱ ሳሙኤል ክፍሌ (ዶ/ር) መታሰቢያው ከአንጋፋው አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር ለመሥራት መወሰኑ ትልቅ ለውጥ የሚያመጣ መሆኑን አንስተው፤ ታሪክን በሚገባው ቦታ ለማቆየትና ለትውልድ ለማሻገር ተቋማቸው በትምህርትና በቴክኖሎጂ ለማገዝ ዝግጁ መሆኑን አረጋግጠዋል።

የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ በየጊዜው የአገልግሎት ተደራሽነቱን በማስፋት የተለያዩ የዲጂታል አገልግሎቶችን እየስተዋወቀ ይገኛል፡፡ በዚህም በዩኒቨርሲቲው ለሚሰሩ ሰራተኞች ያለምንም ማስያዣ ብድር መበደረ የሚችለውን 'ሲቢኢ በእጄ ' የተሰኘ የዲጂታል ብድር አማራጭ ይዞ መጥጥቷል፡፡
ይህ የዲጂታል ብድር አገልግሎት የዩኒቨርሲቲው ሰራተኞች እስከ 150,000 ብር የሚደርስ ብድር አገልግሎት ማግኘት የሚያስችል መሆኑ ተገልጿል፡፡ በዚህም ባንኩ በዛሬው እለት ከአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር የይፋዊ ማስጀመሪያ ስምምነት ተፈራርሟል።
በስምምነቱ ወቅት የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር ደረጀ እንግዳ አዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከወረቀት ነፃ የሆኑ አሰራሮችን እየተገበረ እንደሚገኝ ጠቁመው ይህ ስምምነትም የዩኒቨርሲቲው ሰራተኞች በቀላሉ የዲጂታል አገልግሎትን በመጠቀም ብድር እንዲያገኙ የሚስችል በመሆኑ እንደሚበረታታ ገልፀዋል፡፡
በተመሳሳይ የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ ማዕከላዊ ሪጂን ም/ፕሬዝዳንት አቶ ሙሉነህ ለማ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የእውቀት ማዕከል እንደመሆናቸው እና በተለይ አዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሳይንስ እና ቴክኖሎጂ ማዕከል እንደመሆኑ ከተቋሙ ጋር መስራት አዋጭ እንደሚያደርገው ገልፀዋል፡፡
በመጨረሻም የአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር ደረጀ እንግዳ እና በኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ የማዕከላዊ ዲስትሪክት ም/ፕሬዝዳንት አቶ ሙሉነህ ለማ ስምምነቱን ፈርመዋል፡፡
