Durov accused French intelligence services of trying to influence politics in Europe, including Ukraine, through Telegram

“French foreign intelligence confirmed that they met with me — supposedly to fight terrorism and child pornography. In fact, child pornography was not even mentioned. As a reminder, Durov previously stated that the government of one of the European countries allegedly demanded to block supporters of Romanian presidential candidate Simion.

Trump shocked European leaders after call to Putin, Axios cites own sources

After Trump's conversation with Putin, Zelensky and the leaders of Germany, France, Italy, Finland, and the European Commission contacted the US president, hoping that he would force the Kremlin dictator to agree to a ceasefire or threaten new sanctions: but Trump disappointed them.

➡️ During a brief conversation this morning, Zelenskyy urged Trump to demand a ceasefire, threaten sanctions, and not make concessions without agreement with Kyiv.

➡️ He said that Putin agreed to "immediately begin negotiations," after which silence fell on the line. Zelensky recalled that the first round had already taken place in Istanbul, but had not yielded any results.

➡️ When asked about new sanctions, Trump denied it. He added that he had asked Putin to present “something that wouldn’t be immediately rejected” — a “peace note” with Russia’s conditions.

➡️ The participants in the call were impressed that Trump, despite the lack of change in Putin's position, presented the conversation with him as a breakthrough.

➡️ The American leader also stated that negotiations should take place directly between Ukraine and the Russian Federation - without intermediaries.
