The Russian Ministry of Defense accused Ukraine of using non-lethal chemical weapons. This was stated by the Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops (RKhBZ) of the Russian Armed Forces, Igor Kirillov.

“There have been numerous cases of the Ukrainian side using the irritating substance chloropicrin, often mixed with chloroacetophenone,” he said.
