⚡️ 🇱🇧 🇱🇧 ❌ 🇮🇱 - On the 12th of March, the IDF issued an "immediate" evacuation warning to all residents of southern Lebanon south of "Zahrani" river, near 50km away from the border, as the IDF intends to expand it's ground operations in Lebanon. The area, 1,354km², contains more than half a million people. [2]
Currently, 5 IDF Divisions, being the "91st", "146th", "210th", "36th" and the "98th" are deployed and operating across southern Lebanon. Over the past 2 weeks, the most major IDF advancement attempts took place towards 'Khiam', facing vigorous guerrilla and bombardment [3]. The IDF remains yet to reach the center of the town. Similarly, in 'Aitaroun'. [4]
The IDF, on 3 separate occasions, has attempted to airdrop in 'Nabi Chit' via "UH-60" Helicopters from the direction of Syria, in search of the captured IAF pilot Ron Arad in graveyards, with no success.
Towards 'Halta', the IDF's "210st" has advanced towards the flatlands, facing minimal artillery resistance. The IDF also continues to advance from the 'Margaliot' axis towards 'Meiss ElJabal', 'Qalaat Debba' hills, 'Houla', & towards 'Merkaba', 'Aadaysit Marjaayoun' to the direction of 'Taybeh' from 'Misgav Am'. in the southern axis the IDF's "36th" Division attempted to advance towards 'Qouzah' from 'Ramyeh', but the spearhead of vehicles was struck with anti-armor munitions forcing the IDF to retreat. Hezbollah also retains presence in 'Labbouneh', in which an IDF tank was struck near an IDF outpost within the Israeli side of the border. [6]
In the last 10 days, Hezbollah has targeted at least 10 "Merkava" tanks, 1 unidentified vehicle, & shot down 2 UCAVs.
At least 47 operations were conducted by Hezbollah today alone, surpassing operations in a single day since its establishment.

I think people really struggle to understand what aerial supremacy really means.
Contrary to intuitive thought, having a fighter jet fly over one’s airspace is NOT outright evidence of that. Rather localised suppressed air defences, after 2 weeks of SEAD/DEAD.
Nationwide, IADS is still active, VHF radars still exist, and the threat of passive AD too. IRIAF Fighter Jets are still seen performing CAP flights and interceptions.
The video of a USAF “F/A-18E” Fighter Jet conducting a strafing run on the coastal city of ‘Chabahar’ is evidence of localised suppressed air defences.
Ofcourse, the southern coastal areas, closest to the “CVN-72” carrier is where the USAF has been mostly operating.
The USAF however still relies on “MQ-9A” UCAVs to conduct its strikes for risk reduction. The USAF and the IAF still conduct standoff munition strikes.
Be it aerial supremacy was established, the sortie rate of Fighter Jets, in low profile with high yield capacity would certainly increase in folds.

The IRGC states that the aircraft was severely damaged and there is a high probability it crashed, though its fate is unknown.

Like I said, the myth of air superiority...
An EO/IR SAM was used. Note that afterburners are not on. The aircraft's chassis remained intact after the, indirect, strike. Damage to engine and wings.
Unclear what variant, but it might have been "3rd Khordad" or "TABAS", a SHORAD, (eg. "MAJID" or "Qa'm-118") is also possible.
