Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro denounces a right-wing coup attempt against the Bolivarian Revolution. He has stated that the US Empire is backing these coup attempts.

The Israeli military police arrested 9 (some sources say 10) reservist soldiers from Sde Teiman prison in Negev desert, in occupied Palestine.

The soldiers were reportedly arrested and referred to investigation after a Palestinian detainee was hospitalized due to a severe injury in his rectum as a result of a rape incident.

In protest of the soldiers’ arrest, members of the Israeli Knesset, accompanied by dozens of Israeli residents, rioted outside Sde Teiman prison in an attempt to break in.

On July 28, the 70th birthday of Hugo Chávez (1954-2013), Nicolás Maduro Moros won the Venezuelan presidential election, the fifth since the Bolivarian Constitution was ratified in 1999.

About half of Venezuela’s voting population is reliably wedded to the Bolivarian project, and no other political project in Venezuela has the kind of election machine built by the forces of the Bolivarian revolution.

The Israeli military claims to have targeted a senior Hezbollah commander, who in fact survived the attack. Israeli forces have claimed that this commander was responsible for the attack on Majdal Shams, in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights on Saturday, July 27.

We spoke to Ramón Velázquez, the minister for the Popular Power for Transportation, who explained how strong the Venezuelan revolutionary conscience is and how the people will defend their process.

Peruvian President Dina Boluarte announced that she would increase the basic salary, change the name of the Ministry of the Interior, increase the salaries of the police and the armed forces (her closest allies during this time in office), and construct a building for the Peruvian National Archive.

"Balochistan Yakjehti Committee (BYC), the movement fighting for the victims of forced disappearances in Pakistan’s Balochistan, has converted Baloch Rajee Muchi (Baloch National Gathering) at Gwadar into an indefinite sit-in, and given a “shutter-down strike” call in opposition to alleged state atrocities against protestors since Sunday.

BYC demanded accountability regarding the killings of people and the release of all the persons arrested from its rally in Gwadar on Sunday, and declared that the sit-in will not end until all those arrested are released and action is taken against the persons involved in the killing of protesters.
