#PeoplesHistory | Today we honor Karl Marx, the revolutionary philosopher whose analysis of capitalism laid the foundations for the modern socialist movement.

Marx's scientific theory of historical materialism provided a comprehensive tool for understanding class struggle and the evolution of human societies. His works expose the fundamental contradictions of the capitalist mode of production that inevitably lead to the exploitation of the working class.

By lifting the veil on the real material conditions and social relations underlying capitalist society, Marx demonstrated the historical necessity of overthrowing bourgeois rule to achieve true human emancipation. His clarion call - "Workers of the world, unite!" - still rings out today.
