According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health “the famine is deepening and will claim thousands of lives if the aggression is not halted and humanitarian and medical aid is not immediately brought in.”
It also accused Israel of deliberately” starving thousands of people in northern Gaza and urged the international community and the UN to stop the war and avoid a “health catastrophe.”

On Wednesday, Yemen’s Ansar Allah group claimed it targeted another commercial ship in the Gulf of Aden. The news reports later confirmed that at least three crew members of the Liberia-owned and Barbados-flagged bulk carrier True Confidence were killed and four others were wounded in the strike.
These are the first casualties reported since Ansar Allah launched strikes on the ships heading to Israel in the region in support of Palestinians in Gaza on November 19 last year.

Senegal is set to hold its presidential election on March 24 after the country’s top judicial body, the Constitutional Council, rejected the government’s bid to delay the polls.
Outgoing president Macky Sall formally announced on the evening of March 6 that the Council of Ministers had been informed of the date. The decision was also ratified by the Constitutional Council on March 7.
