2024 is a super-election year in Croatia wherein Croatians will have the opportunity to elect their president, representatives to parliament, and representatives to the European Parliament.

For two weeks, French farmers have been protesting, demanding fair prices for produce and retention of fuel subsidies. Now, vowing to "siege" Paris, farmers have blocked highways to the capital.

Across Europe, massive farmer protests swell - as in Germany and Belgium - over agricultural policies seen as insufficiently supporting rural livelihoods.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) is a central figure in the unfolding healthcare crisis in South Gaza. As expected, Israeli forces are destroying health infrastructure through relentless bombardments, sniper fire, and evacuation orders, forcing thousands to move to Rafah, the next target of the Israeli Occupying Forces (IOF).

Between October 7, 2023, and February 1, 2024, more than 100,000 people in Gaza were killed, injured, or are missing presumed dead, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

#PeoplesHistory | Today, we remember the over 1 million martyrs of the battle of Stalingrad. Despite suffering heavy losses, the Soviet Red Army victory over Nazi Germany marked the turning point in WWII.

Don't let Hollywood fool you. USSR not only lost over 27 million people during WWII, but it was their sacrifice and determination that defeated fascism.

On Friday, the US made good on its threats and bombed Iraq and Syria, in retaliation against an attack on a US military outpost by the Islamic Resistance Forces in Iraq.

Not only is the US supplying military aid to Israel, the United States is now actively bombing Syria, Iraq, and Yemen in a regional West Asian conflict that the Western nation has only widened.

Hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans hit the streets of Caracas to remember the spark that lit the flame of the Bolivarian Revolution: the Feb 4 coup attempt led by Hugo Chávez. 32 years ago, Chávez, leading the Bolivarian Movement-200, attempted to overthrow neoliberal president Carlos Andrés Pérez. The heroic effort did not succeed but is seen as a key event in leading up to Chávez's victory in 1998.
