🚌 The Caravan has crossed the border to Serbia! The passports were checked, but half an hour ago all cars and the bus could pass.
So now we are on the road again and will soon arrive in Belgrad where we will spend the night.

🌿 Good morning! After a short night in Belgrade the caravan is gathering in a park to give a press conference. We will make clear how our caravan is connected to all struggles against border regimes. Like our societies, our struggles cannot be divided by borders. ✌️

After a successful press conference in Belgrade, in which we drew attention to the situation in Kobanê and emphasized the need for joint resistance, we had breakfast and snacks with the local friends. Now we are setting off from Serbia in good spirits. Four hours to the next stop. Let's go! ❤️‍🔥

Rojbaş! After a successful press conference, we spent the evening chatting with our local friends, enjoying snacks, and doing media work before being assigned to our sleeping places at our local friends' homes.
We will use today to continue connecting with the people here and getting to know each other. Our friends have organized a demonstration "Hands off of the social revolution in Rojava" for this evening, which we will attend together. It will start at 18.30 at Kamara. See you there✌️

It focuses on the friends Lea and Jakob, who were injured during the civilian defence of the Tishreen Dam by Turkish drone attacks. Now they are joining the caravan.

“We had to return to Germany because of our injuries. But in our hearts, we are still with the people there. Everything that is happening right now reminds us of the situation a year ago. Once again, civilians are being targeted. Once again, attempts are being made to destroy democratic coexistence among the people of Syria”

"By participating in the Caravan, they not only want to raise public awareness, but also provide concrete medical support. They also want to call on international aid organisations to take a clear stand against the ongoing war crimes. Together with the Kurdish Red Crescent (Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê), they also want to organise donations to support the people. They have joined forces as the ‘Medical Support Caravan’ to pursue all these causes"

Now we are having an assembly in the place where we slept to determine our next steps 🎤 🚌 🌄

After the assembly, the friends invited us to have lunch together. We will gather at a social center close to the seaside to have food, get to know each other and prepare for the demonstration in the evening.

So now the first big meeting of the day is over! It showed us once again how important it is to come together in assembly. Thanks to all the friends for their strong words! We go out with a clear sense of the central role the internationalist caravan takes in the current struggle. Everybody's contribution counts! This spirit we will take onto the streets tonight and on the road tomorrow. 🌄

The place we were having lunch at is a former school that got closed because of damages to the building. The locals fought for the school to be reopened and after the state denied it, it was squatted and is now a Social Center. There is a very diverse self-organized program from dancing classes to language classes and open assemblies. ❤️‍🔥
