In short, Federal Territory Day marks the anniversary of the formation of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur in 1974 which includes Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan as the three federal territories of Malaysia.
Recently, this day was celebrated with lighting for buildings and landmarks, flags and buntings and events in the federal territories. So, make sure to check them out to experience the atmosphere.
