Zemen Bank S.C. Partners with European Investment Bank (EIB) on Green Finance

🔴 Fiat Currency will be Dead by 2037.

The Gold market is sending a clear signal.
It has finally concluded that fiat is fake.
Investors are losing confidence in the fiat system.

The gold market is showing that there is no Department of Treasury—only a Department of Debt.

Every single unit of fiat, whether digital or physical, comes from banks.
Only banks can issue fiat, and banks do not invest money or give it away for free. Banks only lend it as debt.

So every unit of fiat is debt—whether it belongs to you, your employer, your corporation, or your government.

The debt-based currency system (fiat) was first established in the 1920s and again in the 1940s to rebuild a world devastated by 2 great wars.

There was no trust or system in place, so the West, led by the U.S., created fiat as debt and convinced people to accept it as an asset for trade and business.

People accepted it, but the system should have reverted to a hard asset once trust was established. America never did that.

Now, in 2025, the world is filled only with only Debt.

Governments survive on massive debt, you finance your home with debt, buy cars with debt, purchase food with debt, and drive on roads built by debt.

Central banks, led by the Federal Reserve, exist to protect this debt system by issuing even more debt, because debt can't tolerate shortages.

But sooner or later, the Debt question must be resolved.

There are only 2 tools to solve it: Gold, the most proven debt cancellation tool, and Bitcoin, the digital gold.

There is no 3rd option.

The debt system will not survive the next 10–12 years.
All debt will eventually be absorbed by Gold and Bitcoin.

Gold is $3,600 and Bitcoin is $100,000 now.
When the great absorption occurs, Gold would reach $36,000 per ounce, and Bitcoin $20 million per coin.

Together, their combined value could reach $600 trillion.

Currently, global debt is $325 trillion, cash $100 trillion, stocks $100 trillion, and real estate $150 trillion—totaling over $600 trillion.

Eventually, money will equal all available assets, resources, and cash.

Only Gold and Bitcoin are money, so $600 trillion for them is nothing.

Ethiopia Boosts Coffee Export Capital Threshold;

The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority has increased the capital requirement for coffee exporters to obtain a qualification certificate from 1.5 million birr to 15 million birr — a tenfold rise, equivalent to approximately $110,000.

The decision aims to ensure that only well-capitalized and competent individuals or organizations participate in the coffee export sector, which is a cornerstone of Ethiopia’s economy.

እስከ ሒሳብ ዓመቱ መጨረሻ ድረስም ሙሉ በሙሉ ከወለድ ነፃ የባንክ አገልግሎት የሚሰጡ አራት ባንኮችና ስምንት ማክሮ ፋይናንስ ተቋማት ገበያውን ተቀላቅለው እየሠሩ መሆናቸውን ጠቁመዋል፡፡

Finally, CBN Cuts Interest Rate by 50 Basis Points to 27%

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has cut its key interest rate by 50 basis points, after inflation fell for five consecutive months.

The cut, carried by the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), is the first since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

This expected cut comes amid slowing inflation and a recent strengthening in the Naira.

The 12-member MPC lowered the benchmark rate to 27 per cent from 27.5 per cent, Governor Olayemi Cardoso told journalists at a briefing in the nation’s capital, Abuja, on Tuesday.

Last week, Nigeria’s annual inflation rate eased to 20.12 per cent in August from 21.88 per cent in July, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Monday.

The statistics office said the August 2025 headline inflation rate decreased by 1.76 per cent compared to the July 2025 headline inflation rate.

The pact also lays the groundwork for Ethiopia’s forthcoming 2030 digital strategy, building on the achievements of the 2025 plan, which expanded internet access, digitized public services, and strengthened the country’s technology ecosystem.

MONETARY POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING NO. 004

The National Bank of Ethiopia maintained its benchmark interest rate at 15% following today's Monetary Policy Committee meeting. The decision reaffirms the central bank's commitment to taming inflation, which stood at 13.6% in August.

In a policy adjustment, the NBE raised the credit growth target for banks from 18% to 24% for the current fiscal year. This cautious move aims to balance economic growth with inflation control while transitioning toward modern monetary tools.

The Committee noted "strong growth momentum" across key sectors but emphasized that maintaining a tight policy stance remains necessary to achieve single-digit inflation. All other key rates, including standing facilities, were left unchanged.
