Wissenschaftl. arbeiten in Medellin in stickigen Labors u. züchten jede Woche 30 Mill. gentechnisch veränderte Mücken. Die Insekten wachsen von der Larve über die Puppe bis zum Erwachsenen heran, sie werden auf der richtigen Temp. gehalten u. großzügig mit Fischmehl, Zucker u. natürlich Blut gefüttert. Sie werden dann in 11 Ländern in die Wildnis entlassen.
Bill Gates, der das Projekt finanziert, versichert uns: „Die freigesetzten Mücken terrorisieren die Einheim. nicht. Sie helfen, Mill. von Leben zu retten u. zu verbessern.“
