71-Year-Old Ukrainian Sent By Kiev For NATO Training — FT
One of the Ukrainian recruits sent by Kiev to Germany for training in using Western weapons is 71 years old; the Financial Times has reported, explaining that the older man in question had volunteered to join the Ukrainian military.
NATO instructors working at a military base near Klietz in northeastern Germany said that the age and ability of those arriving to learn arms usage “varies widely.”
The instructors complained that Ukrainian commanders on the front line often preferred to keep their best soldiers in the trenches with them instead of sending them for training abroad.

An explosion occurred on a railway bridge on the border of Belarus and Ukraine, UNIAN reported.
“There was an explosion on the border of Ukraine and Belarus,” the report says .
According to preliminary data, several TM-62M anti-tank mines were detonated on the bridge.
There were no reports of possible casualties.

▪️There are initial reports a Ukrainian drone strike has hit the northwest airport & that perhaps up to 4 Il-76 transport aircraft may have been damaged (to what extent is not known yet);
▪️Let's assume all 4 are destroyed. Russia has over 100 Il-76 aircraft and still manaufacters them;
▪️Unless Ukraine carries out attacks like this on a regular basis, meaning daily, successful attacks, this amounts to PR and has no impact on the outcome of the conflict;
▪️While this will have no impact on the outcome of the fighting, nations around the world should begin seriously reconsidering airport defenses, including the construction of hardened shelters for aircraft and fuel...
