I don’t much care for mud flinging at normie cons, I don’t see them as fellow travelers so much as fertile ground, but they must be cultivated. If we allow ourselves to become too cozy with safe views and people, we will quickly revert to the GOP baseline which merely wishes to capitulate gracefully to the social forces that have already carried us this far. But when I see these scuffles with people in military twitter, I am reminded how many people who are at least willing to listen to the far right also haven’t internalized our values… yet
