Many European countries have lifted all covid restrictions. In America, the loosening of mask mandates could be a sign that we're headed in that direction. However, until the vax mandates are lifted, we'll just be in a new normal of sorts—one that's still entirely unacceptable as far as we're concerned.

I predicted in early 2021 that by midterms most if not all of the mandates, lockdowns, etc. would be lifted, if for no other reason than to help the Democrats. "Biden beat covid, no thanks to the GOP!" would be the narrative. That could happen—and I maintain that the restrictions won't last forever—but at the same time, DC just rolled out a vax mandate last month.

My current prediction is that the trend is toward the gradual lifting of restrictions in America. Some cities and states will have the mandates for longer than others. Nevertheless, our ruling class, knowing that they can't maintain this forever and fearing huge GOP wins in 2022 and 2024, will look for an out. And it appears they've found it with the the whole "the science has changed" narrative.

The Jan. 6 Committee’s subpoena required me to turn over documents by Feb. 2 and appear for a deposition today, Feb. 9. I haven’t done either yet.

As previously stated, I don’t have any information that, if revealed to the Committee, would harm me or others. I’m not on trial nor have I been charged with anything. Nevertheless, I’m working with my attorney to ensure that my rights are protected during this process.

This is good news. Keep in mind, however, that as these restrictions are lifted there's the potential for them to be reimplemented. I do maintain though that the overall trajectory is toward a return to normal.
