I just finished rewatching Once Upon a Time in America (1984) for the first time in over a decade. Itβs a superb filmβdefinitely one of the better crime epics. Worth watching if you have four hours to spare.

1. A healthy dose of skepticism regarding politicians is wise.
2. Every politician advocating for things we want isnβt part of some secret scheme to subvert the right.
Controlled opposition does exist, but some would have you believe that every politician or candidate who isnβt 100% explicit on the issues has ulterior motives.
Donβt be so jaded that you wind up believing that good things canβt happen.
