A substantial portion of what is now termed cancel culture stems from Civil Rights law. Companies don’t just fire ‘problematic’ employees to avoid bad publicity—they do so to avoid litigation.

How many MLK-worshipping conservatives are willing to touch this? It’s no wonder conservatives don’t seem to have a plan to put a stop to the oft-lamented cancel culture.

What book?

Trump calls for the bombing or invasion of Afghanistan to reclaim the estimated $85 billion in lost equipment.

While I understand his frustration, the fact of the matter is that the longer we stay in Afghanistan, the more embarrassing our eventual withdrawal will be. Better to cut our losses and get out ASAP.

For what it's worth, I'm not idealistically anti-war either. War should be a last resort, one only opted for when absolutely necessary. The obvious problem with recent American wars is that they were largely unnecessary and destructive to our country.

Even back in 2015 he was saying "bomb the shit out of them", he never was an idealistic anti-war guy he just thought in terms of winning and losing

There are pros and cons to imperialism in any era, but the empire we have now decidedly doesn't benefit us.
