Either malicious actors feel that the Biden administration is weak or forces in the deep state are conducting digital false flags (Vault 7 Umbrage) in order to provide a pretext to further marginalize Russia. Which is it?

There have been more than four hacks this year, as a commenter pointed out.

Many conservative publicity stunts, however goofy and ill conceived, are harmless. The fundraiser for AOC’s “abuela” directs funds away from more important causes. I can think of a million better uses of donor money. If we’re lucky, GoFundMe will refund the donations.

Also, we don’t really know if AOC’s grandmother is still living in the dilapidated house, as conservatives are claiming. AOC’s initial tweets seem to suggest otherwise. This means that AOC can hit an easy PR home run if she feels like acknowledging the situation at all.

Were I AOC, I would post a picture of abuela living safely with relatives, and, after accepting the money, have abuela donate most if not all of it to a left-wing non-profit.

“Thanks for the support, Matt Walsh! But abuela as you can see here is doing just fine. I don’t appreciate you exploiting my family for likes on social media, so we’re going to be giving the money you raised to Black Lives Matter.”

GoFundMe, as a surprise to absolutely no one, is opting to refund the donation’s to Matt Walsh’s abuela fundraiser—and for that we are grateful.
