MTG continues to serve as a fascinating litmus test for the Republican Party. Despite her hardline stance on a number of issues, such as immigration, the GOP largely stuck with her when the Democrats stripped her of her committees—a good sign. Still, it appears that there are limitations on how much actual populism the GOP is willing to tolerate in Congress.

The real reason MTG scrapped the America First Caucus was that the “Anglo-Saxon” rhetoric angered the Hibernian lobby.

The Chauvin verdict will be announced within the hour. It’s all but guaranteed that he will be found guilty on one if not all counts. At the very least, Chauvin will be convicted of second degree manslaughter. Regardless of the outcome, riots are likely, be they celebratory or retaliatory.

The jury only deliberated for ten hours—they could have taken days—and they apparently didn’t have any notes or questions. Moreover, Chauvin’s best hope was a hung jury, but that a verdict was reached indicates that this wasn’t the case.

What makes you so sure he will be found guilty?

Bear in mind that in the likely outcome that Chauvin is convicted, there will be an appeal process—and the judge already stated that Maxine Waters’ comments could be grounds for such an appeal.

Alan Dershowitz also argued that a guilty verdict would be reversed by SCOTUS. I suppose we’ll see.

Political violence is the language by which the left expresses itself. The reasons provided for rioting, looting, attacking, etc. are mere rationalizations, nothing more.
