To be a conservative is to prioritize higher ideals: God, nation, family, order, etc. If you value the market above these ideals then you are a liberal (in the classical sense)—not a conservative.

Here Dinesh draws attention to a noteworthy reality: China is increasingly adopting woke critiques of America to pursue its civilizational goals. Chinese leadership, of course, doesn’t care about progressive ideology—they’re merely engaging in realpolitik by weaponizing America’s ruling ideology against the regime.

American elites: America is horribly racist and needs to be radically reshaped.

Chinese elites: We totally agree. Let’s start by delegitimizing you on the world state.

American elites: Uh, well, that’s not what we had in mind...

Our ruling class is engaged in a precarious balancing act, attempting to preserve a unipolar world order while simultaneously furthering domestic decline for their own benefit. You can’t have it both ways, though. As the nation state declines, so, too, does the empire.

They own mansions all around the world, though, so they’ll never suffer as we will once America becomes a third world hellscape.

Religion and politics are considered poor subjects for conversation in certain settings, given their divisive nature. But for those of us in dissident politics, the opposite is the case. Politics and religion are inextricably linked, for the essence of civilization has historically been religion. Indeed, even in our modern, supposedly enlightened era of science, progress, and atheism, appeals to religion – and professions of faith, however sincere – are necessary requisites for political success. That even Joe Biden felt it necessary to invoke his (likely insincere) Catholic identity to run for office adequately proves this point.
