I finished The Sopranos tonight. Excellent show. The ending was good—ambiguous, but good. The final scene—where the Sopranos are eating in the diner—was delightfully anxious. It leaves you on the edge of your seat, awaiting some tragedy to befall the family—but then it ends abruptly.

Ending a show is hard. I’m not without sympathy for the writers of any popular show. They must be aware of the fact that people are going to whine, regardless of how well an ending is written and executed. Most of the largest shows—Lost, Breaking Bad, Dexter, etc.—have managed to piss people off.

The Sopranos is of particular interest to us as identitarians. Race, ethnicity, and religion are all explored within an American context. Tony’s “old-fashioned” views on race are presented without progressive moralizing.

Further interesting is the way in which the show approaches degeneracy. These days, interracial relationships, homosexuality, drugs, promiscuity, etc. are flaunted as virtues in mass media; in The Sopranos, they’re portrayed as destructive and unwholesome. Vito’s escapades end tragically; Tony’s womanizing causes immense damage to his family life; multiple characters destroy themselves via substance abuse; and despite having considerable worldly riches, Tony and many other characters are profoundly unhappy.

The villain is a notorious washed up e-celeb who’s livestreaming the event on YouTube and raking in millions in superchats

The Saudi oil field thing is certainly cause for concern, but let’s remember that the safest bet is always that nothing will happen.

We’ve seen plenty of saber-rattling in this past. While this particular incident is serious, I’d be surprised if we see military action.

To be fair, it’s not as if they’re going to outright ban the classics anytime soon.

But they don’t need to; for to consign Western literature to the figurative and literal dumpster of history only requires that new generations be left uneducated on such things.
This is happening right before our eyes. Go out onto the street and ask people if they’ve even heard of Melville, Dostoevsky, Spengler, Nietzsche, Kant, etc.—most haven’t. Even among otherwise educated people, knowledge our people’s intellectual and cultural achievements is waning.
As such, it isn’t too far fetched to imagine that a few generations from now the average White American will be totally unaware of the depth and profundity that existed in the before times. Sure, the books will still be there—at least online—but no one will know about them, let alone read them. For such works are ultimately the products of a time before “progress” finally took root, and thus to be treated as volatile artifacts.

Good summary of the situation from Pat Buchanan. I’m sure the Bidens engaged in shady dealings—the notion that Joe was unaware of Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine is laughable—my guess is that this will only prove to be an issue for him if the establishment desires it to be.

Biden’s still very much part of the ruling class, and until order is restored, they will remain mostly above reproach.

No Red Flags for Gangs
Few people oppose disarming dangerous people, but who gets to define “dangerous?” President Donald Trump wants authorities to have the power to seize guns from anyone who is a “grave risk to public safety.” But “red flag” laws of that kind won’t protect us. They will be used against us.
Equality under the law is breaking down. Democrats like Jerry Nadler do not violate their principles when they want leniency for suspected gang members but a police state for white advocates. They are defending their constituents and disarming their enemies.
In a system in which Al Sharpton is a moral leader and Jared Taylor is a dangerous pariah, subjective law is a mortal danger to our liberty and even to our lives.
