#India has surpassed #China as the most represented higher education system in Asia with 148 featured universities, 37 more than last year.
Mainland China with 133 universities is second and Japan with 96 the third highest represented in the latest QS World University Rankings for Asia.
IT-Bombay and IIT-Delhi are among the top 50, while there are five other Indian institutions in top 100.
