WHY JESUS WAS BORN

Matthew 1:21 (Passion)
21 She will GIVE BIRTH to a son and you are to name him ‘SAVIOR,’ for he is DESTINED TO GIVE HIS LIFE to save his people from their sins.”
The Bible records some extraordinary events that took place on the night Jesus was born. For most people in that day and time of His birth, it was another cold winter’s night. Scripture tells us that angels declared to the shepherds who watched their flocks, “… Don’t be afraid, for I have come to bring you good news, THE MOST JOYOUS NEWS the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere!” (Luke 1:10 TPT). The reason for their joy was simple: “For there is born to you this day in the city of David A SAVIOR, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11). This child was born to be the savior of mankind! Heaven rejoiced because humanity – God’s creation – will be delivered from the bondage and grip of the devil! Our text says, “… he is DESTINED to GIVE HIS LIFE to SAVE HIS PEOPLE from their SINS!”
The Bible tells us in Matthew 2:1(MSG), “After Jesus was born in Bethlehem village, Judah territory—this was during Herod's kingship—a BAND OF SCHOLARS arrived in Jerusalem from the EAST.” These scholars popularly known as ‘wise men’ were men of repute who were highly educated and schooled in astrology and prophecies. Some have said that they were students of the school in the east (Babylon) where Daniel, hundreds of years before, was raised by Nebuchadnezzar to head. Daniel 2:48 says, “Then the king PROMOTED DANIEL to a high position in the kingdom, lavished him with gifts, and made him governor over the entire province of Babylon and the CHIEF IN CHARGE OF ALL THE BABYLONIAN WISE MEN.” This group of men had probably been studying the prophecies that Daniel taught and had been observing the stars. When they saw the constellation of the stars and knew that the child had been born, they came all the way to worship and see the prophecy fulfilled!
Matthew 2:11 (MSG) says, “They entered the house and saw the child in the arms of Mary, his mother. Overcome, they kneeled and worshiped him. Then they opened their luggage and presented gifts: gold, frankincense, myrrh.” These men didn’t come to worship empty-handed! They came with gifts and their gifts were significant because of what they represented. While the gold points to Jesus’ royalty because He is ‘The Christ,’ the frankincense spoke of his divinity because it was an aromatic plant that was used in the worship of deities. But the interesting thing is that they also brought ‘myrrh’ which is a spice used to embalm the dead (John 19:39), and nobody brings such to a baby shower! The myrrh attested to his humanity because He was born to die! These wise men through their gifts preached and demonstrated with understanding the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. They were saying through their gifts, God laid aside His majesty to become a man to die for men.
They worshipped because where others saw a baby, these wise men saw a God, a Savior and a Redeemer. They knew that this child was born to die! This is the same picture that every child of God should carry in their hearts as they celebrate the birth of Jesus! He is your God, He is Messiah – your King and He is your savior!
PRAYER
|| Thank You Father for Your great love for me. Thank You for coming down to earth as a man to die for my sins. As I celebrate Jesus’ birth, I am reminded of His purpose which has been fulfilled in my life. Thank You Jesus for redemption! Thank You for life and victory over the works of the devil! Today, I worship Jesus my God, King and savior who was born to die for me!
PONDER
Jesus is your God, He is Messiah – your King and He is your savior!

HE WAS BORN FOR YOU!

Isaiah 9:6 (TPT)
6 A CHILD has been BORN FOR US; a SON has been GIVEN TO US. The responsibility of complete dominion will rest on his shoulders, and his name will be: The Wonderful One! The Extraordinary Strategist! The Mighty God! The Father of Eternity! The Prince of Peace!
The world has built a massive financial economy around an event that some still know very little or nothing of its significance. The season is buzzing with people shopping, cooking, and making plans to enjoy and celebrate Christmas with friends, family and sundry! For whatever reason, Christmas is indeed a time of celebration because unto us a child was born! He wasn’t born to Joseph and Mary; rather He was born through Mary for the world! He is God’s greatest gift to the world!
The Bible says in Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name IMMANUEL.” Immanuel means “God is with us.” Actually, it literally means “God became one of us.” The Passion Translation of Matthew 1:23 says, “Listen! A virgin will be pregnant, she will give birth to a Son, and he will be known as “Emmanuel,” which means in Hebrew, “God became one of us.””
When God gave us Jesus, He gave us Himself! He identified with us in every respect! He came to dwell and live among us! Though the creator of the whole world, He came to us in the humblest way! Luke 2:7 says, “And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” At His birth, there was no room for Him in His own created world except a manger. This only shows that from His birth He chose to identify with our worst condition! He is truly “God with us!”
The good news however is this, He didn’t become one of us just to empathize with us, He came to our world to identify with us to the end that we will identify with Him. He came to bring us into His own world and that could only be possible by paying for our sins. Matthew 1:21 says, “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save his people from their sins." Jesus wasn’t born to punish us for our sins, He was born to save us from our sins! He is the light of hope in the world of darkness. No wonder on the night when He was born, Luke 2:8-9 says, “… there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.” Jesus is the glory of God! He is the Dayspring and the Sunrise of heaven! Luke 1:78-79 says, “Through the tender mercy of our God, with which THE DAYSPRING from on high HAS VISITED US; to GIVE LIGHT to those who SIT IN DARKNESS and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
He is the One that shone brightly in the world of the shepherds when the angels came! Even today, He is shining bright in your world, lighting every darkness and shadow! He is your Savior and He is your Deliverer! That truly calls for joy because it is for us that He was born!
Never for once should anyone think that He has come to punish anyone for their sins because according to our text the reason He was born and given to us is so that He will bring us into complete dominion over the devil, sin, and every work of satan.
Rejoice because He is The Wonderful One! The Extraordinary Strategist! The Mighty God! The Father of Eternity and The Prince of Peace!
Merry Christmas to you!

|| Thank You Father for coming into my world so that I can be brought into Your world. You were born in a manger so that I can be born into Your kingdom of dominion and power! Thank You Father for Your grace demonstrated to me in Christ Jesus. Thank You for saving me from the tyranny of the devil and giving me dominion over him. Thank You Father for Christmas!

THE LIFE OF THANKGIVING

Colossians 1:12
12 GIVING THANKS to the Father who has QUALIFIED us to be PARTAKERS of the INHERITANCE of the saints in the light.
Whether you realize it or not; there is so much to be thankful for as a believer. Simply thinking of what Jesus has accomplished for you in His death, burial and resurrection is something to be thankful for!
While it is good to be thankful for the things we can physically see such as a promotion, a bonus, wedding anniversaries, graduations, deliverance etc., our thanksgiving ought to go beyond these things. Thanksgiving would become a lifestyle rather than an event for any child of God who recognizes the eternal things that God has done for/in him or her.
The truth is there is nothing that compares to what God has done for you in Christ Jesus. Only His grace could have ‘qualified’ you where others wrote you off.
Colossians 1:13 says, “He has rescued us COMPLETELY from the TYRANNICAL RULE of DARKNESS and has TRANSLATED us into the kingdom realm of his beloved Son.” Did you know that no amount of military power can stop the operations of the deadly arsenals of the kingdom of darkness yet you've been delivered from satan’s kingdom and dominion. It means the devil no longer has the right or power to exercise his will over your life again. He cannot run you over with his wicked maneuvers because you have been 'delivered’ (not going to be delivered) from his dominion. This is something worth shouting about!
Ephesians 2:6 says, "And hath RAISED US UP TOGETHER, and made us SIT TOGETHER in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” This means that you have the same spiritual position as Jesus because you're seated together with Him. Glory to God!
Colossians 1:14 goes further to say, “in whom WE HAVE REDEMPTION through His blood, the FORGIVENESS OF SINS.” In Christ Jesus, you have redemption! This means that you have been redeemed from sin's curse! You’re forgiven and no longer bound by fear because His unconditional love has become the antidote to every form of fear and anxiety. Redemption means that all your sins - past, present, and future - have been forgiven! In Jesus Christ, you stand justified and acquitted before God in heaven’s courts. You are no longer condemned because you are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
When you grasp the depth of all that God has done for you, it will cause you to abound in thanksgiving. The Passion Translation of our text says, “Your hearts can SOAR with JOYFUL GRATITUDE when you THINK of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light” (Colossians 1:12).
Start thinking on these truths and you’ll be thankful everyday of your life!
DECLARE
|| Thank You Father for things that I can see but much more I am grateful for the intangibles. To know that I am forgiven, qualified, healed, delivered, and made to sit with You gives me great joy! Thank You for loving and giving me a place to rule and reign with You in life in Jesus’ Name.

THE LIFE OF THANKGIVING

Colossians 1:12

WE REIGN AND RULE WITH WORDS

Mark 11:23
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but BELIEVES that THOSE THINGS HE SAYS will be done, he will HAVE WHATEVER HE SAYS.
The words of a child of God are more powerful than some might realize! Jesus said in Matthew 12:37, “Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation” (MSG). Jesus was simply saying that your words determine your experience! You can't speak defeat and expect to live in victory!
According to scriptures, the mark of a mature Christian is more than piousness and being sanctimonious, because some who are, still live defeated lives. A ‘mature’ or ‘perfect’ person according to the Bible is someone who knows how to craft and control the affairs of his/her life through words. James 3:2 says, “For we all stumble and sin in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says [never saying the wrong thing], he is a PERFECT MAN [fully developed in character, without serious flaws], able to bridle his whole body and rein in his entire nature [taming his human faults and weaknesses]” (AMP). With your words, you can tame wrong desires, habits, or flaws! With your words, you can transform the events around you and this is possible because you're in authority!
As a child of God, you are seated with Christ Jesus in the place of highest authority in all the universe and that is at the very right hand of the Father (Ephesians 2:6). When you realize where you're seated, you will understand that your words are very powerful. Those in authority know that their words are their greatest asset. Kings and rulers aren’t careless with words and the Bible calls us royalty, so we ought not to be careless with our words (Revelations 5:10). The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 8:4, “Where THE WORD of a KING is, there is POWER; and who may say to him, ‘What are you doing?’”
The highest form of spiritual power is the ability to speak and create good things with our words. This is just like our Father God who at the beginning created all that we see and brought them into existence through His words and He saw that everything He created was good! (Genesis 1:1-10).
In our text, Jesus teaches the power of our words over life and nature but most importantly He taught the need to build God’s Word into our 'conversational’ life! Ruling and reigning in life takes more than just a one-time declaration in a church service or prayer meeting. Good as that may be, it is the continuous laying forth of our words that determines how we rule and reign in life. Jesus teaches that the things we have are the things that we ‘continuously’ say. Our text says, “... he believes that those things he SAYS will be done.” The word ‘says’ in the Greek (‘lego’) means ‘to lay forth in an order.’ Your life’s experience is determined by the words that you’re consistently laying forth from your mouth.
The Word of God must be daily enshrined in your everyday conversation! You don’t say one thing in church and say another in the marketplace. You must become a man and woman of one word!
Start laying forth your words in victory, blessings, prosperity, increase, and power even in the chaos, bad news, hardship, and apparent austerity and you will reign and rule in life over sickness, poverty and death in Jesus’ Name!
DECLARE
|| I am created and born in Christ for mastery! I rule and reign through the Word of God that is in my mouth because I am seated with Christ Jesus in the place of the highest authority. I am not careless with my words because I am royalty! I am deliberate and intentional with my words because I always have what I say in Jesus’ Name.
PONDER
The highest form of spiritual power is the ability to speak and create good things with our words.

As a child of God, you are seated with Christ Jesus in the place of highest authority in all the universe and that is at the very right hand of the Father (Ephesians 2:6). When you realize where you're seated, you will understand that your words are very powerful. Those in authority know that their words are their greatest asset. Kings and rulers aren’t careless with words and the Bible calls us royalty, so we ought not to be careless with our words (Revelations 5:10). The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 8:4, “Where THE WORD of a KING is, there is POWER; and who may say to him, ‘What are you doing?’”
The highest form of spiritual power is the ability to speak and create good things with our words. This is just like our Father God who at the beginning created all that we see and brought them into existence through His words and He saw that everything He created was good! (Genesis 1:1-10).
In our text, Jesus teaches the power of our words over life and nature but most importantly He taught the need to build God’s Word into our 'conversational’ life! Ruling and reigning in life takes more than just a one-time declaration in a church service or prayer meeting. Good as that may be, it is the continuous laying forth of our words that determines how we rule and reign in life. Jesus teaches that the things we have are the things that we ‘continuously’ say. Our text says, “... he believes that those things he SAYS will be done.” The word ‘says’ in the Greek (‘lego’) means ‘to lay forth in an order.’ Your life’s experience is determined by the words that you’re consistently laying forth from your mouth.
The Word of God must be daily enshrined in your everyday conversation! You don’t say one thing in church and say another in the marketplace. You must become a man and woman of one word!
Start laying forth your words in victory, blessings, prosperity, increase, and power even in the chaos, bad news, hardship, and apparent austerity and you will reign and rule in life over sickness, poverty and death in Jesus’ Name!
DECLARE
|| I am created and born in Christ for mastery! I rule and reign through the Word of God that is in my mouth because I am seated with Christ Jesus in the place of the highest authority. I am not careless with my words because I am royalty! I am deliberate and intentional with my words because I always have what I say in Jesus’ Name.
PONDER
The highest form of spiritual power is the ability to speak and create good things with our words.

27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY.
One of the things the gospel does to you as a child of God is to give you hope. Through the gospel, you are assured of spending eternity with the Father! The gospel also assures you of the victory and triumph of life over death in any situation. It doesn't matter where you are or what your experiences are before you became a child of God, the gospel of our Lord Jesus gives you a reason to live and believe for better things and new experiences!
1 Peter 1:3-4 (Message) says that, “What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have EVERYTHING TO LIVE FOR, including a future in heaven—and the FUTURE STARTS NOW!”.
When the Bible says that you've been given a brand-new life, it isn't saying that you've been given a brand new 'lifestyle,' it is actually saying that you've been given a brand-new kind of life! You've been given the eternal life of God! This life is the resurrection life of God that injects life into any dead thing and brings it back to life. It gives you a confident assurance that things must change. Your future isn't just in heaven because the future starts now!
You don't have to go to heaven to be healed because there's no sickness in heaven. You won't have to go to heaven to be prosperous because the same resurrection life that raised Jesus from the dead is in you and that same life can turn anything around for your good! Apostle Paul speaking in Philippians 1:19-20 says, “For I know that this shall TURN TO MY SALVATION through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, According to my EARNEST EXPECTATION and MY HOPE, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.” The hope of the gospel is what removes every form of shame from your life! It doesn't matter whether the situation looks terrible on the outside and the timelines elapse, you know that everything is working out in your favour so there's no need to be ashamed because you can see victory and you always win.
Our text, Colossians 1:27 says that the mystery of the Christian life is, “.. Christ in you, the hope of glory.” It means that because the resurrected Christ lives within your spirit man, you can expect your life to move from glory to glory! From beauty to beauty!
Christ in us is the reason we know that we will be better today than we were yesterday! It is the reason we can walk off the bed of sickness! It is the reason we can see all the dreams that the Father has implanted in our hearts coming to pass. It is the reason we can dream again and expect good things to come out of negative situations because according to Romans 8:28 (TPT), “... we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.”
This is the confidence with which you should face life in the coming year as you thank God for a glorious 2025 in Jesus Name.

GOD HAS MANY CHILDREN

Hebrews 2:10
10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in BRINGING MANY SONS TO GLORY, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
We are sons of God in the same way Jesus is the son of God. To be born again is to have ‘Jesus’ status before the Father! You are as precious to God as Jesus is to Him! He doesn’t love you less than He loves Jesus!
John 1:12, 13 (MSG) says, “But whoever did want him, who believed he was who he claimed and would do what he said, He made to be their true selves, their CHILD-OF-GOD SELVES. These are the GOD-BEGOTTEN, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten, not sex-begotten.”
The new creation in Christ Jesus is born of God! This new birth transcends human origin. This new birth is more than ‘my papa and mama didn’t mean to have me’ kind of birth. It doesn’t matter who you were born to, where you were born or what the plans for you were; in Christ Jesus, you are reborn as God’s child! You are ‘God Begotten.’
There was a time when Jesus was the ‘only’ begotten Son of God, but not anymore because you also become a child of God the moment you believed and received Him as your savior! John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM should not perish but have everlasting life.”
By believing in Jesus as the Son of God, you become the son of God. The same everlasting life that made Jesus the Son of God was imparted to your spirit and made you a child of God.
Jesus was the ‘only’ Son of God when only He had this everlasting life but the day you received this everlasting life, you also became God’s Son. Romans 8:17 says, “… and if CHILDREN, then heirs—heirs of God and JOINT HEIRS with Christ ...” You are a ‘joint-heir’ with Christ.
God gave His only begotten Son so He would have many sons like our text says in Hebrews 2:10, “… in bringing MANY SONS to glory...” Today Jesus is no longer the only Son of God because, after His death, burial, and resurrection; Revelations 1:5 says, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the FIRST BEGOTTEN of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him, that loved us and washed us from our sins in his blood.”
John’s first account in John 3:16 referred to Jesus as the ‘only begotten’ but in this second account when he saw Him in His present-day ministry in Revelation 1:5, he referred to Him as the ‘first begotten’ because every man and woman that believes is a begotten child of God! Indeed, God has many children!
DECLARE
|| Thank You Father for your gift of eternal life imparted to my spirit. I am your begotten child, and it is good to know that You love me like You love Jesus. I am a joint heir, with rights to everything that Jesus has a right to. Daily as I look up to you though Your Word, I am changed and transformed into Your image from glory to glory in Jesus name!

HIS FACE SHINES ON YOU

Numbers 6:23 —26
23 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
24 “The Lord BLESS YOU and KEEP YOU;
25 The Lord make HIS FACE SHINE UPON YOU, And be GRACIOUS to you;
26 The Lord lift up HIS COUNTENANCE upon you, And give you PEACE.” ’
Under the Law, the high priest blessed the worshippers at the end of their service by speaking these Words of benediction over them. They held those words tight because they knew that the favour of God made things happen for them. The favour of God distinguished them on their jobs and businesses because an integral component of the blessing is the favour of God. A blessed man is a favoured.
Never forget that you are blessed because you are in Christ you are a blessed person (Ephesian 1:3)! It doesn’t even matter how people treat you! It doesn’t matter what you go through and your challenges – IN CHRIST YOU ARE BLESSED and the blessing is irreversible.
Never start your day without reminding yourself that you are the blessed and the favoured one. Your High Priest – Jesus, is sitting in the heavenly shrine in heaven right now and He is declaring over you: “The Eternal Father of mercy bless you and keep you; The Eternal All Able One make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Eternal Self existent One lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”
To ‘keep’ means to ‘guard, hedge, preserve and direct.’ It means that God is your protector against evil, losses, scams and He is directing your paths in the right direction. He is causing you to be in the right place at the right time. Your God is your keeper today.
To ’make His face shine upon you’ actually means ‘to have God smile upon you in approval.’ It means that you are the One that God has approved. When God approves of you, no man can disapprove of you.
Ephesians 1:6 says, “… to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED.” Because of Jesus ’ sacrifice on the cross, we have God’s approval. The Amplified translations render it as, “[So that we might be] to the praise and THE COMMENDATION OF HIS GLORIOUS GRACE (FAVOUR and MERCY), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.”
We have God’s commendation because we are in His beloved – Jesus. It has nothing to do with our qualification, who we know or do not know, it has everything to do with Jesus!
When God’s face is upon a man or woman, victory and peace is assured! The high priestly blessing pronounced says: “The Lord lift up HIS COUNTENANCE upon you, and GIVE YOU PEACE” and this peace means all round prosperity! It means victory!
DECLARE
|| I have a High Priest in the heaven Who speaks life over me and all that I do! His name is Jesus and I boldly declare that the Father’s face shines upon me and all that I put my hands upon to do prospers wonderfully because I am under the watching eyes of my God in Jesus name.

Spend a lot of time praying in the spirit, and you'll be more successful than you have ever been in anything you do"!

YOU ARE THE LIGHT

Ephesians 5:8
For you were ONCE DARKNESS, but NOW YOU ARE LIGHT in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
The Bible makes no mistake when it comes to the identity of the new creation in Christ Jesus. He calls the believer the light.
Jesus confidently declared in John 8:12, “... I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” It is important to hear what Jesus said in this verse. He is not saying that God's light shines through Him rather He says that He is the Light.
Jesus said He is the Light that God shines in the world of darkness. If darkness connotes confusion, fear, anxiety, evil and death then lightning simply means the answer to these things!
In the same way, Jesus calls us light. Matthew 5:14 says, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Apostle Paul in our text says that we were once in darkness. Notice he didn't say we were walking in the darkness, he said we were in darkness. It doesn't matter what we did or didn't do, we were in darkness but that has changed. Now in Christ we are the light of God. We are the sons of light. We are the bringers of hope to the hopeless. We are the solution. We are the answer!
It is important to know that as a child of God, He isn't just shining His light through you. You aren't the medium through which His light shines rather you are the very light that He shines into the darkness.
We're exactly like Jesus was in His earth walk. This is the truth and consciousness that you must walk with every day of your life and that starts today.
DECLARE
|| I carry Christ Jesus in me. I am the light of the world. His life is in me. I am the solution and I'm providing answers. The darkness of this world has no part in me. I shine bright in darkness in the name of Jesus Christ.
MEDITATE
You are exactly like Jesus was in His earth walk. You are the solution. You are the answer!

THE FATHER’S CHOICE

Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are His WORKMANSHIP, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God PREPARED BEFOREHAND that we should walk in them.
It takes more than just brilliant ideas and wonderful proposals to be successful even in the things that God has asked you to do. Having the right image and identity of yourself is where success begins. You are God’s choice - His workmanship.
It is important to have the right image of yourself. God wants you to see yourself the way He sees you. God ordained Jeremiah to be a prophet to the nation of Israel at a time when the whole nation was in chaos and disarray.
The Bible says in Jeremiah 1:4-5, “Then THE WORD OF THE LORD CAME to me, saying: Before I formed you in the womb I KNEW YOU; before you were born I sanctified you; I ORDAINED YOU A PROPHET to the nations.”
Has God’s Word come to you today like it came to Jeremiah? What have you seen in the Word that has stirred a dream in your heart?
God wanted Jeremiah to know that He ‘knew’ and ordained him as a prophet even before he knew himself. There are some who say that God will use anybody to do whatever He wants to do but that isn't exactly true because there's a uniqueness that you carry that only you can do what He wants you to do. You are unique and special. He doesn’t have another to do whatever He has ordained for you to do. He'll raise another to do whatever He ordained for them to do but not your own assignment.
Like Jeremiah many miss out on God's plans and purposes for their lives when they fail to see themselves like God sees them. Jeremiah answered God, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” (Jeremiah 1:6)
Where God saw a national prophet, Jeremiah saw himself as an ordinary youth who didn't have what it took to do God’s assignment.
You must see yourself as God sees you. You are not a failure. You're worth much to the One who matters – God. Everything He says about you in His Word is so very true. You're indeed what His Word says you are. You're not what you do. You're not your imperfections. You are the one that the Father has ‘sanctified,’ ‘set apart,' or ‘specially selected’ to carry out a purpose that will bring glory to His Name and be a blessing to humanity.
The devil will always try to attack your personality and make you see who you are not but you must constantly keep your eyes on God’s Word and constantly remind yourself who God says you are.
The Bible says that you are righteous. You are justified! You are blessed! You are favoured! Matthew 5:14 says, “YOU are the LIGHT of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
As you constantly see yourself as God sees you, you'll receive strength in you to do what God has put in your heart to do. You'll see all the ideas filled with power and they'll all come to pass.
DECLARE
|| I am what the Word of God says I am. I am the light of the world. I rise above whatever I've been labelled and through the power of God’s Word and life in me I'm becoming everything that God has set me apart to become because nobody can do what the Father has designed for me to do in Jesus name.
MEDITATE
You must see yourself as God sees you. You are not a failure. You're worth much to the One who matters – God.

SECLUSION AND SACRIFICE

Psalms 118:27
27 God is the LORD, and HE HAS GIVEN US LIGHT; BIND THE SACRIFICE with cords to the horns of the altar.
Sacrifice is interestingly a theme that runs through scriptures whether with people of covenant with God or with heathen worshippers because sacrifice is a spiritual law! It is the secret of power and influence. Someone rightly said that behind every great fortune is a great sacrifice!
The depth of a sacrifice always determines the scope of influence! You have to learn to let go of a present thing in the quest for a higher desire! For example, the believer who spends more time with the Father in the secret place wields more influence over his space in the place of assignment. In Luke 5:16, the Bible says, “So He Himself OFTEN WITHDREW into the wilderness and PRAYED.” There's a regular practice that distinguished Jesus in life and ministry and that practice made Him effective in the Father’s will for His life.
In the book of Mark 1:35-37 the Bible tells us that “The next morning, JESUS GOT UP LONG BEFORE DAYLIGHT, left the house while it was dark, and made his way to a SECLUDED PLACE TO GIVE HIMSELF TO PRAYER. Later, Simon and his friends searched for him, and when they finally tracked him down, they told him, “EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR YOU—THEY WANT YOU!” (Passion)
You can widen your latitude and reach more people when you narrow your time and zoom in spending time in the presence of God. It is not a coincidence that everyone was looking for Jesus and it's not just some 'luck’ that the people wanted Him. Though the Son of God, He understood the place of spending time with the Father. Seclusion is the key to productivity!
The way to break into new levels in life is through seclusion and sacrifice. When King Mesha of Moab got tired of paying the regular tribute to the king of Israel after the death of Ahab war broke out because things will not change without resistance (2 Kings 3:4-5). The Bible says the kings of Israel, Judah and Edom formed an alliance against Moab and the battle was not in the favour of king Mesha so he got 700 of his 'best’ swordsmen and he found out he was still losing (2 Kings 3:26). When all else failed, 2 Kings 3:27 says, “... he TOOK HIS SON, his FIRSTBORN who would succeed him as king, and SACRIFICED HIM ON THE CITY WALL. That set off FURIOUS ANGER against Israel. Israel pulled back and returned home.”
When king Mesha offered up his ‘heir’ the tides turned in his favour because he set in motion a spiritual law! The sacrifice of his heir was a greater sacrifice than the grain offering that the coalition sacrificed that morning (2 Kings 3:20). Sacrifice is the secret of power for change!
If you are tired of where you are or you want to break out of that situation; probably every other thing you've tried has failed, I want to encourage you to get into a place of seclusion and sacrifice.
PRAYER
|| Father, teach me the art of waiting upon You in the place of prayer because Your presence makes the difference! I let go of every appearance and empty myself to be filled with everything that You are. My eyes are open to see what You will say as I am instructed by Your Spirit. You always give me the victory and I always win because I am standing and walking in the victory of Christ Jesus.
PONDER
The way to break into new levels in life is through seclusion and sacrifice.
