We scanned 288 SMM panels from their own public price lists and compared every service against the same product on the 35 panels we track every six hours.
• 80% of those panels list at least one service priced below the cheapest source we track - a median of 9 services each, typically 17% below.
• 98% have at least one service at 3x the market median or more.
• 4,320 under-cost listings in total.
Neither is a strategy. Prices get set once, the suppliers move, and nobody goes back through 4,000 services by hand.
