رسام وفنان تشكيلي إسباني من أبرز الفنانين الذين شاركوا في كثير من الحركات الفنية المنتشرة في العالم، كان له تأثير عظيم على فنانين كبار من عصره، وكان إلى جانب الفرنسي جورج براك والإسباني خوان غريس، أحد مؤسسي حركة "المدرسة التكعيبية" في الرسم.

ولد بابلو رويث بيكاسو يوم 25 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 1881 في مدينة مالقة جنوب إسبانيا. نشأ في كنف عائلة بورجوازية وكان والده خوسيه رويث مدرسا للرسم في مدرسة بمدينة مالقة الأندلسية وأمه ماريا بيكاسو ربة بيت والدها إيطالي وأمها إسبانية.

Born and raised Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born on 25 October 1881 in the southern Spanish city of Malaga. Born in a bourgeois family, his father Jose Ruiz was a teacher of painting at a school in the Andalusian city of Malaga and his mother Maria Picasso, a housewife whose father is an Italian and her Spanish mother.

الدراسة والتكوين
التحق بمعهد الفنون الجميلة في برشلونة سنة 1895 قبل أن يكمل خمسة عشر عاما من العمر، بعد أن اجتاز في أسبوع واحد اختبارات يتطلب إنجازها شهرا، وأظهر تفوقا في دراسته فأرسله والده إلى أكاديمية سان فرناندو الملكية للفنون الجميلة بمدريد، وهي أبرز مدارس الفن الإسبانية.
لم تلق أجواء التجديد التي رآها بيكاسو في برشلونة وحاول تطبيقها في مدريد قبولا حسنا بين المحيطين به، فقرر ترك الدراسة والسفر إلى باريس.

Studying and training
He enrolled in the Institute of Fine Arts in Barcelona  in 1895 before completing 15 years of age. After passing one week of tests which required a month's performance, he showed superiority in his studies . His father sent him to the Royal Academy of San Fernando in Madrid , .
He did not receive the renewal atmosphere Picasso saw in Barcelona and tried to apply it in Madrid well accepted among those around him, he decided to leave the study and travel to Paris .

التجربة الفنية
كان والد بيكاسو هو أول أستاذ له في فن الرسم وأول من اكتشف موهبته وهو لم يجاوز العشرة من عمره، حيث رسم أول لوحة زيتية له، بعد أن شاهد مباراة لمصارعة الثيران، وهي لوحة "فارس مصارعة الثيران الصغير" التي احتفظ بها ورفض التخلي عنها طوال حياته.
تذكر بعض الروايات أن والد بيكاسو عندما رأى براعته قدم له فرش الرسم ولوحة الألوان وتعهد بعدم العودة إلى الرسم فيما تبقى من حياته.
بدأ بيكاسو حياته الفنية المستقلة متنقلا بين باريس وبرشلونة في الفترة ما بين عامي 1901 و1904، والتي عُرفت "بالمرحلة الزرقاء" حيث غلبت درجات هذا اللون على إنتاجه بسبب حزنه لانتحار صديقه كارلوس كاساجيماس الذي كان رفيقه في مغامرته الفنية الباريسية.
كانت لوحة "دفن كاساجيماس" بداية لهذه المرحلة التي صور فيها ملامح البؤس الإنساني الذي رآه في حياة الشحاذين ومدمني الخمر ونساء الليل، ثم تعرف بيكاسو على صديقته فرناند أوليفييه، وبدأت معها (1904-1905) "المرحلة الوردية" من حياته الفنية، التي غلب فيها اللونان الأحمر والوردي على رسوماته التي ركزت على عالم السيرك وكان من أبرزها لوحة "عائلة البهلوانات".
تعرّف بيكاسو على الأمريكييْن ليو شتاين وشقيقته غيرترود اللذين أصبحا أول رعاة فنه وقاما بجمع أعماله، وفي عام 1906 بدأت أعمال بيكاسو تأخذ منحى آخر غلبت عليها تأثيرات الفن الإغريقي والإيبيري القديم والأفريقي.
كانت أبرز لوحات هذه المرحلة لوحة "آنسات أفينيون" التي لم يفهمها النقاد ولا حتى الفنانون الطليعيون في ذلك الوقت، ثم أصبحت من أهم اللوحات الفنية عالميا.
مع تأثره هو وصديقه الفرنسي جورج براك بالمعالجة الحجمية للأشكال الصورية التي ابتدعها الرسام الكبير بول سيزان، ابتدع بيكاسو في 1908 سلسلة من رسومات المناظر الطبيعية بأسلوب مبتكر، وصفها أحد النقاد بأنها كما لو كانت مصنوعة على أساس من المكعبات الصغيرة، ومن هنا نشأ مصطلح "المدرسة التكعيبية".

كانت الموضوعات المفضلة لرسومات بيكاسو في المرحلة التكعيبية، التي بدأت في 1909، تتضمن الآلات الموسيقية والطبيعة الساكنة وأصدقاءه. ثم قام بتطوير جديد في الفن التكعيبي عندما أضاف قطعا من المشمع والكرتون إلى لوحة "طبيعة ساكنة مع كرسي من القش" لتنشأ بذلك مرحلة "المدرسة التكعيبية التركيبية" (1912).
توالت أعماله المبهرة والرائدة، وظهرت أهم إنجازاته للوجود عام 1937، وهي اللوحة الجدارية الضخمة "غرنيكا" التي يعتبرها أغلب النقاد واحدة من أهم الأعمال الفنية الفردية في القرن العشرين، استلهمها بيكاسو من قصف الطيران النازي الألماني لقرية غرنيكا الباسكية شمال إسبانيا بطلب من الدكتاتور الإسباني فرانثيسكو فرانكو، خلال الحرب الأهلية الإسبانية، أدان فيها أهوال الحروب وقسوتها.
واصل بيكاسو إنتاجه حتى سنوات عمره الأخيرة، وبلغ مجموع لوحاته ما يزيد عن ألفي لوحة منتشرة في المتاحف والمجموعات الفنية الموجودة بأوروبا ومختلف أنحاء العالم، وشمل إنتاجه الغزير أشكالا اخرى كثيرة من التعبير الفني، من بينها النحت والنقش وأعمال السيراميك وتصميم ديكورات وملابس لعروض مسرحية.

The artistic experience

Picasso began his independent art career between Paris and Barcelona between 1901 and 1904, known as the " Blue Stage ", where the color of this color overcame his production because of his sadness to suicide his friend Carlos Casagimas, who was his companion in his Parisian artistic adventure.
The painting of "Casagymas" was the beginning of this stage, in which he depicted the human misery he saw in the lives of beggars, alcoholics and night women. Picasso then met his girlfriend Fernand Olivier and began with her (1904-1905) the "pink phase" of his artistic life, Where the red and pink on his drawings, which focused on the world of circus and the most prominent of which is the "family of tumblers."
Picasso learned of the Americans Leo Stein and his sister Gertrude, who became the first patrons of his art and collected his works. In 1906, Picasso's work began to take on another direction dominated by the influences of ancient Greek and Iberian art.
The most prominent paintings of this stage were the Ainsat Avignon, which was not understood by the critics or even the leading artists at the time, and then became one of the most important paintings of the world.
With his and his French friend Georges Braque influenced by the volumetric manipulation of the visual forms created by the great painter Paul Cezanne, in 1908 Picasso created a series of innovative landscape paintings, described by critics as being made on the basis of small cubes. Cubism. "

Picasso's favorite themes in the Cubism phase, which began in 1909, included musical instruments, sedentary nature and his friends.
