Ever walked past a sculpture on campus and wondered what itโ€™s actually about?

Across NUS, there are commissioned public artworksโ€”some by internationally renowned artistsโ€”embedded in the spaces you move through every day.

Since 2022, the NUS Public Art Initiative, supported by NUS Museum, has been shaping campus through site-specific worksโ€”while also connecting students to these artworks through tours, workshops, and collaborations.

At Yusof Ishak House, students recently took part in a hands-on woodcut workshop with Pangrok Sulapโ€”co-creating mural elements around Arts, Community & Leadership, and Sports. Their contributions will become part of a larger public artwork at YIH.
