Gold is currently trading at a sensitive price zone. Why am I saying that?

Gold is approaching the upper boundary of a descending channel on the H1 timeframe after a strong recovery from recent lows. This is a critical decision area where both buyers and sellers have strong reasons to defend their positions.

However, from a technical perspective, a breakout above the channel would not automatically confirm a trend reversal. On the other hand, if price gets rejected from the current area, the broader bearish structure remains completely intact.

🔹 Primary Market Structure:

• Gold remains inside a clear descending channel on the H1 timeframe.
• Price has recovered sharply and is now testing the upper boundary of the channel.
• EMA 20 is turning higher, supporting short-term bullish momentum, while EMA 100 and EMA 200 continue to slope downward, indicating that the larger trend remains bearish.
• The current zone represents a confluence of horizontal resistance and dynamic channel resistance.

⭐ In my view, this is a crucial test area. The market’s reaction here will likely determine the next directional move.

🔹 Key Technical Levels:

Immediate Resistance Zone:
• 4,483 – 4,488 → Short-term resistance and upper channel boundary
Major Resistance Zone:
• 4,538 – 4,543 → Next bullish target if a breakout occurs
Higher Resistance Zone:
• 4,573 – 4,578 → Major liquidity zone above
Intraday Support Zone:
• 4,413 – 4,418 → Nearest key support
Major Support Zone:
• 4,363 – 4,368
Final Support Zone:
• 4,323 – 4,328

🔹 Market Scenarios:

• Bullish Breakout Scenario
If Gold breaks and holds above 4,483 – 4,488, buyers may extend the recovery toward higher resistance zones.

⭐️ Bullish Targets: 4,538 → 4,573
However, this move should still be viewed as a corrective rally within the broader bearish trend. There is currently no confirmation of a full trend reversal on either the H1 or H4 timeframe.

• Bearish Rejection Scenario (Preferred)
If Gold gets rejected from the upper boundary of the descending channel, sellers could quickly regain control.

⭐️ Bearish Targets: 4,413 → 4,363 → 4,323
This scenario would keep price respecting the existing descending channel structure and reinforce the dominant bearish trend.

➡️ Conclusion:

Gold is currently trading at a highly sensitive area as price tests the upper boundary of the H1 descending channel.

⚠️ Key Level to Watch: 4,483 – 4,488
If price breaks above this zone, Gold could continue recovering toward 4,538 – 4,543 and potentially 4,573 – 4,578. However, such a move would still not be enough to confirm a major bullish trend reversal.

⭐️ For now, the primary trend remains bearish, and the preferred strategy is to trade in line with the descending channel until the market proves otherwise.

The bullish structure remains intact as long as price continues to print higher lows within the channel. A retracement into 4457–4459 offers an opportunity to buy at a discount, with the expectation of support holding and price rotating back toward the channel highs. The setup provides a favorable risk-to-reward ratio, with invalidation placed below the support zone and channel structure.
