The movie "Jagun Jagun" has been generating buzz for the past few days, capturing the attention of social media users and sparking discussions about its plotline, even among Christians.
Inevitably, there have been instances of criticism emanating from certain quarters within the Christian community. These critics argue that Gospel ministers engaging in discussions about secular movies are acting inappropriately. Additionally, I have come across reviews from various ministers who have also shared their thoughts on the film.
Although I did not watch the movie "Jagun Jagun" and experience its narrative firsthand, this situation compels us to exercise prudence in our online expressions as ministers, especially under the guise of appreciation.
While appreciating the artistry and creativity behind the movie, we must also be mindful of our role in upholding values that align with our Christian faith.
Three things must be clear in our online interactions as ministers of the Gospel:
- Being Cautious
- The Principle of Edification
- Viewing our Digital Platforms as an Altar
