I just learned that over 1 million agricultural workers are hospitalized due to acute pesticide poisoning each year. This is heartbreaking. https://ejfoundation.org/resources/downloads/the_deadly_chemicals_in_cotton.pdf

I'm in the middle of researching and writing a big new article "how to get pesticides out of your life completely" and came across this. I didn't even know 😭 Many of these workers are in the cotton industry, which is particularly pesticide-heavy.
I will of course send the link to my article when I publish - but the executive summary of the report at the ejfoundation link is worth a read. It's tragic but we need to know. We can't carry on like this.
