Lots of people talking about the cheap tiny homes coming out of China - but are they any good? I have a few things to add here...
This video gives an awesome insight into the VISUAL aspect what you get for your money - but zero considerations of the engineering aspects!
First things first: This is NOT a REAL ISO certified recycled shipping container. I can tell right away just by looking at it.
So the ecological aspects just went right out of the window too because there's nothing recycled going on here...
Note also the lack of actual foundations. Just some road base in a hole, with a couple of breeze blocks on top of it and the home plonked on top of it - no strongties or anything holding it down. Let's just hope they are not in an earthquake zone....
