On world sight day ( 13th October 2022) OCI started an Initiative to give back to the community by providing eye assessment to the elderly at old age homes. This programme is supported by Aloka Vision Programme ZEISS Group

The programme is currently on going in 14 cities in partnership with institutes within the cities

A special screening camp was conducted at Childlife Preserve Shishur Sevay, Kolkata by VidyaSagar Institute.
Special thanks to Ms. Srijitha Sarkar for taking initiative to screen children with multiple disabilities including neuro-cognitive and motor disorders.
OCI also thanks Dr. Premnandini Satgunam for giving us this opportunity. A total number of 14 inmates and 19 underprivileged children were screened and 5 were prescribed glasses sponsored by Zeiss Aloka Vision
