🟦 What is the Free Man / Woman?

When it comes to the old axiom "Lead, Follow, or get out of the way," the Free Man or Woman wisely gets out of the way.

Free men and women look to God, Reality as a whole, from whom and within whom they live and have their being. They know all power, authority, and responsibility vest in each of them as loved and forgiven Children of God, brothers and sisters of Jesus, their eldest brother who died and was resurrected for them.

Among the society of the Free, there are no leaders or followers, only equals, who serve each other and work together on projects too large for any one of them.

The Free Man or Woman recognizes that those who claim to be leaders are only people who feel insecure about their own self-worth, and believe they can persuade themselves of their self-worth only by persuading others to acclaim them worthy.

The Free Man or Woman also recognizes that those who would rather follow those claiming to be leaders are only people who feel insecure about their own self-worth, but choose to believe they are, as they have been told since childhood, useless, worthless, helpless, and hopeless, therefore there is no point in trying to accomplish anything. Better to let the leaders tell them what to do.

The Free Man or Woman recognizes leaders and followers to be misguided at best, and very much in need of help to learn that God (Reality as a whole) loves them no matter how useless, worthless, helpless and hopeless they may feel, and will forgive even them if they will just let go of the past and their hidden self-hatred, and return their attention to Him.

The Free Man or Woman knows how hard it is to let go and let God.

For the would-be leaders, this means letting go of the power, authority, and responsibility gifted to them by their followers and insisting that those followers take back that power, authority, and responsibility.

For the would-be followers, this means taking back the power, authority, and responsibility they so desperately don't want, because they're terrified of making mistakes with it and having to deal with unpleasant consequences.

But only when would-be leaders understand that they can only handle their own power, authority, and responsibility, and can't make choices for anyone else, will they begin to understand what the Free Man and Woman already know.

And only when would-be followers understand that they must handle their own power, authority, and responsibility, and must deal with the consequences of their choices, will they begin to understand what the Free Man and Woman already know.

God, Reality as a whole, loves and cares for each and every one of us. He will never forsake us, never hate us, never punish us, always forgive us, and always help us to learn how to handle the incredible power, authority, and responsibility He has granted each of us as His Children, learning to walk in His Way, and to BE and DO His will on Earth as it is in Heaven.

This is what we Free Men and Women are here to do, and it's why we walk way from those who would be leaders and followers until they stop screaming at each other and settle down to listen to God's wisdom.
