Date: Thursday, 11 September 2025 Time: 6.30pm to 7.30pm Venue: MD 11, Symposium Room, Level 1

Abstract
Peter Singer’s Animal Liberation, first published in 1975, triggered the modern animal rights movement, as well as launching animal ethics as a key part of the contemporary study of applied ethics.
