🌸 Kaluzhskaya square
Located nearby NUST MISIS, this square has a lot of quiet corners to relax from your studies. A lot of flowers near your favourite university!
🌸 Apothecary's garden
This place was found by Peter the Great in 1706 to provide a source of herbs for medicinal use. Nowadays it's a quiet part of Moscow with more than 2000 types of plants. If you want to make a photo of beautiful blooming cherries and sakuras, and take a look at magnolia, visit the Apothecary's garden!
🌸 Kolomenskoye Museum Reserve
Park areas, unique plants, Moskva River and historical buildings can be found in this nationally protected landscape. In the spring there are a lot of blooming pear and apple trees.
🌸 Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve
Architectural complex of the late 18th century, park areas and a palace, built for the Empress Catherine II. A perfect place to go for a walk under blooming pear and apple trees.

NUST MISIS has an English-speaking psychologist for students and staff. Consultations are individual, can be done in Russian or English and are provided by a clinical psychologist Galina Ratmanova.
If you feel depressed or anxious, have troubles in studies or socialising, feel free to contact the 'Point of Support'. Pre-registration is required and can be done online by sending an e-mail to ratmanova.gv@misis.ru. Reception days: Tuesday, Thursday, room G-378.
We also invite you to our monthly meetings. Look out for the announcements in university's social media!

The Day of Vietnamese Culture at NUST MISIS! 🇻🇳 🇷🇺
Recently our university celebrated the Day of Vietnamese Culture, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Vietnam and the 50th anniversary of the reunification of North and South Vietnam.
The celebration was attended by more than 80 people from various Moscow universities. Participants could listen to lectures on Vietnam's heritage, enjoy performances and traditional cuisine and take part in a masterclass on traditional dancing. The Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi Vladimir Murashkin mentioned that the Day of Vietnamese Culture is an important step in fostering intercultural dialogue.

There will be exams after the completion of the course and you will receive the Preparatory Program Graduation Certificate. Available programs include various profiles including natural science, engineering, economics, medical and some other.

Joint Science and Education Projects discussed with Vietnam National University! 🤝
Representatives of NUST MISIS and Vietnam National University (VNU) in Hanoi discussed prospects for cooperation in science, education and joint training of specialists. The official visit took place as a part of the events linked to the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam.
The delegation from Vietnam visited the Laboratory of Superconductor Quantum Technologies and the Engineering Center of High-Complexity Prototyping "Kinetica". It was agreed to develop a long-term strategic partnership. In the future reciprocal working visits will be organized to deliver guest lectures and to familiarize participants with infrastructure and research activities. Also, it is planned to to annually select 20 VNU graduates for admission to NUST MISIS master's programs.
