๐ŸŒ With advanced AI tools๐Ÿค–, scammers can now mimic voices and create realistic videos to trick unsuspecting victims. ๐Ÿšจ

When interviewed by the Straits Times, #NUSComputing's Associate Professor Terence Sim emphasized the dangers, stating, "When a victim sees a video of a friend or a loved one, he tends to believe that it is real and that they are in need of help. There is an increased level of believability and deception behind such scams." ๐Ÿ˜ง

Additionally, #NUSComputing's Professor Hahn Jungpil in an interview with Lianhe Zaobao, added his insights by saying, "Consumers should generally be more skeptical and vigilant.โ€

โ€œA certain level of skepticism will help consumers tune into subtle visual and auditory anomalies that may suggest that the content they are seeing is indeed a deepfake.โ€

Have you ever participated in the National Steps Challenge๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ? For those who are unaware of it, you get rewarded for completing a certain number of steps each day.

A China-based fitness app takes it up a notchโ€”users can earn points and compete with peers.

How does these gamification ๐Ÿ‘พ elements affect user behaviour between different groups and what factors should we measure them by?
