Congrats to Computer Science PhD student Ma Yunshan, NUS Computing Professor Chua Tat Seng, and their collaborators for winning the Best Student Paper Award at the ACM ICMR 2021! The team proposed a novel approach to develop a more efficient and effective fashion recommender system using two types of global graphs - the user-item interaction graph and item-item transition graph - to capture both long-term and short-term preferences in shoppers. 🛍️
