To make it cooler, the wall heaters have now been switched off. The environment should now be more comfortable for training. 👍

Due to a hot water supply (HWS) leakage, the water was been temporarily turned off in all blocks. 🛀

We contacted USM about this issue earlier and we're glad to inform you that the water supply has now been restored in all blocks!

Recently, some of you expressed concerns regarding the weak water pressure in the Aquapoint of the library. 💧

After checking with the supplier and plumber team, it was confirmed that the system works properly.

Temporary drop in water pressure happens when multiple students fill their bottles at the same time. We kindly ask you to wait a little bit when encountering such issues - filter needs 2-3 minutes to refill with clean water. 💧

It has come to our attention that academic blocks are repeatedly being left in an unacceptable state, with large amounts of food waste and pizza boxes abandoned overnight 😢.

When faculty, staff, and students arrive in the morning to begin the academic day, they are met with an unhygienic and chaotic environment. This significantly disrupts the teaching and learning process 👎.

As a kind reminder, all students are expected to adhere to the following😡:

— You are required to clean up after yourself.

— All trash must be placed inside the designated bins.

— If a bin is full, take your trash with you. Do not leave waste on the floor or next to a bin.

We expect your immediate cooperation. Maintaining a clean and respectful learning environment is a shared responsibility😘.
