RCY Youth@Community will be conducting a Disaster Risk Reduction Exercise in the Red Hill area on 16, 23 and 24 November 2024!

We are looking for both Chinese speaking (Mandarin, Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese) and Non-Chinese speaking (Malay, Tamil) volunteers to help us conduct survey questionnaires and give out care packs around the area. The event will be from 1.30pm - 6.30pm.

📢 Project SWIFT: Volunteer Opportunity!

RCY Youth@Community is partnering with the SRC HoME+ team for the 3rd run of Project SWIFT! We're looking for volunteers to visit HoME+ clients and check on their equipment.

📍Training: 1 June (Sun), 12pm - 4pm (4 hours In-Person Training)
🗓Deployment Period: 14 - 29 Jun (2 weeks)
👥Debrief: 4 July (Fri), 7pm - 8.30pm

✅ Requirements: 18+ (or with a guardian if under 18)

✅ No certifications needed, but SFA, PFA, or Befriending training is a plus.

✅ Comfort with seniors and fluency in local dialects or your mother tongue is a bonus.

✅ Volunteers will be paired, trained, and supported by HoME+ and RCY staff.

To be involved in this project, there is also a compulsory training session on 1 June (Sun). Thereafter, visits will be done within a 2-week period (14–29 June), on your own schedule.
