📢 Project SWIFT: Volunteer Opportunity!
RCY Youth@Community is partnering with the SRC HoME+ team for the 3rd run of Project SWIFT! We're looking for volunteers to visit HoME+ clients and check on their equipment.
📍Training: 1 June (Sun), 12pm - 4pm (4 hours In-Person Training)
🗓Deployment Period: 14 - 29 Jun (2 weeks)
👥Debrief: 4 July (Fri), 7pm - 8.30pm
✅ Requirements: 18+ (or with a guardian if under 18)
✅ No certifications needed, but SFA, PFA, or Befriending training is a plus.
✅ Comfort with seniors and fluency in local dialects or your mother tongue is a bonus.
✅ Volunteers will be paired, trained, and supported by HoME+ and RCY staff.
To be involved in this project, there is also a compulsory training session on 1 June (Sun). Thereafter, visits will be done within a 2-week period (14–29 June), on your own schedule.

Project R.I.C.E.+ 🍚 is an annual nationwide collection and distribution drive led by Youth Leaders from the Singapore Red Cross ⛑. The project brings essential food and daily necessities to our vulnerable communities! 🏡👨👩👧👦
📢 Be a part of the action! Sign up as a volunteer, you’ll assist in packing food and daily necessities into bundles and/or distributing these bundle sets to community centres and beneficiaries.
Your support is crucial and we need as many volunteers as possible 🙏🏻

On 9 March, together with @racntu, our members went to JTC Space@Tuas to express appreciation for and support the empowerment of Singapore’s migrant worker community ❤️
We organised a Financial Literacy Workshop aimed at enhancing participants’ understanding of personal finance and encouraging informed financial decision-making 💰
We also conducted the DARE Workshop with @sgredcross to equip attendees with life-saving skills and the confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations 🚑
Lastly, we conducted fun and interactive games to allow these workers to simply unwind and enjoy each other's company 🎡
A huge thank you to @racntu for the amazing collaboration 🫶 We are proud of what we have achieved together ✨

⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Reporting at 7:15 AM)
👕 Dress Code: Volunteer T-shirt provided by Club Rainbow, comfortable activewear with closed-toe shoes.
