🙂 JUST IN: Initia halts its network after a $2.6M exploit

An attacker minted tokens without authorization and drained more than $2.6M, forcing Initia to pause its layer-1 blockchain and rollups. It adds to the $2.81B stolen from crypto between January and October 12, 2026.

🙂 JUST IN: Telegram trading bot BloomTrading drained of $954K in Solana

49 connected wallets belonging to 9 users were drained on October 26, sending roughly 9,408 SOL to the attacker. BloomTrading has paused some services and promised to reimburse verified losses in full.

Attackers got in through a third-party monitoring tool, stealing customer records and the key used to verify genuine devices. Shipments are paused and sales moved to preorders, while seed phrases and private keys were not affected.

Hackers used a flash loan to seize 2 of X100’s 3 governance seats, approving a malicious proposal that dumped 400,000 X tokens and drained approximately $4.85M in USDT.

The attack sent the X token crashing over 96%, as hackers exploited the protocol’s own governance rules to steal its treasury without directly hacking a wallet.

🙂 JUST IN: Datavault AI Plunges Nearly 50% After Bitcoin Access Crisis

Datavault AI revealed it has been unable to withdraw Bitcoin held at the Biconomy exchange since June, with the funds tied to a $150M investment deal.

The disclosure sent its stock crashing nearly 50% in one day. The company also flagged major accounting errors that could reduce its previously reported assets by $92.2M, forcing it to restate earlier financial statements.

🙂 JUST IN: $1.01M Drained in Midnight Crypto Exploit

An attacker drained 1,013,353 USDC from an Avalanche-based TranchePool linked to Fence Finance and Valinor Digital by exploiting a smart contract accounting flaw during the UTC midnight rollover.

The exploit falsely restored the pool’s borrowing capacity, allowing the attacker to withdraw the same funds twice. The stolen USDC was bridged to Solana and swapped into approximately 5,007 SOL and 506,657 USDe, with recovery and depositor reimbursement still uncertain.

Binance claim the hack started after an employee's laptop was compromised, allowing attackers to submit unauthorized withdrawals.

Binance have suffered $6.3B in losses in ONE night with about $3B billion frozen so far.

🙂 UPDATE: Binance says 80% of the $6.3B hack losses are now covered, withdrawals set to resume Sunday

Binance has already secured around $5B in the same assets that were stolen, including USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and BNB, and is buying back the rest through market and OTC deals.

The exchange says user funds remain safe, with all losses being covered from its SAFU fund and company reserves. Withdrawals are expected to come back online this Sunday.

🙂 JUST IN: BTCPay Server warns hot wallets are being drained, tells all operators to shut down

BTCPay Server says hot wallets on multiple instances are being swept by unauthorized attackers. The project is urging all operators to shut down their instances immediately using ./btcpay-down.sh until the investigation is complete.

If you run a BTCPay instance, take it offline now and move any funds out of its hot wallet once it's safe.

Founder Sheldon Xia said it's one of "numerous attacks" the exchange is dealing with. The funds were traced to a wallet also tied to the $46M Mercado Bitcoin hack.
