George Russell (10th): "In conditions like today, it's always difficult to make the right decisions, but unfortunately, we weren't successful. After the warm-up lap, we decided to switch to hard slicks, and then there was no rain for 25 minutes, which should have allowed us to gain a decent advantage. Unfortunately, for 15 minutes, we drove around the track in Virtual Safety Car (VSC) mode.
As soon as the race resumed, we gained a few seconds each lap, but the gap was already too big.
