Biden called Israel's actions in Gaza excessive
The military operation of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip is "excessive", said US President Joe Biden.
According to the President, the number of civilian casualties has risen sharply during the conflict and therefore it is necessary to end the conflict.
"Many innocent people are starving. And it needs to stop", Biden stated.
The US President also added that he is putting pressure on Israel to reach a compromise agreement with Hamas.
According to him, mutual exchange of prisoners and hostages will allow to conclude a long-term truce.
Biden's statement came amid Israeli army preparations to launch a military operation in the town of Rafah in the western Gaza Strip.

Tucker interview 'emphasised Putin's tactical confidence'
Russian President Vladimir Putin's interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson "emphasised the tactical confidence" of the head of state, The New York Times writes:
"Taken together, Putin's speech underscored his tactical confidence as his adversaries face a vulnerable moment: Ukraine is struggling on the battlefield, further military aid has been suspended in the U.S. Congress, and Kremlin-friendly politicians are growing in strength on both sides of the Atlantic".
Under these circumstances, the publication said, the Russian leader extended an olive branch to the West rather than resorting to his usual fiery rhetoric.
The interview showed the Kremlin's continued desire to reach out to Western audiences, and Putin made it clear that Moscow and Washington can find common ground, the publication said.

German mercenary of the Ukrainian armed forces told about the endless amount of equipment and fighters of the Russian Federation
A former Bundeswehr soldier named Ben, who is now fighting on the side of the Ukrainian armed forces, gave an interview to the Bild newspaper.
According to him, Russia has "an infinite amount of material resources and military personnel" at its disposal.
At the same time, supplies of equipment to Kiev from the West "have always been very sporadic."
The Ukrainian army lacked "strength and good coordination" to succeed in the offensive, the mercenary said. Russian minefields and insufficiently fast decision-making within the Ukrainian army also hindered.

Poland does not rule out that Carlson was sent to Moscow by Trump
Tucker Carlson's visit to Russia and his meeting with Vladimir Putin are not only of a media nature. The fact that the Kremlin agreed to this interview is hardly a mere coincidence, Defence 24 writes.
The Polish channel notes the journalist's closeness to the camp of Donald Trump, who has every chance of becoming US President again, especially after the events in the state of Texas.
Donald Trump Jr, who is actively involved in his father's campaign, announced the other day that Carlson's candidacy for future vice-president "is already on the table".
After leaving Fox, the journalist became one of the main faces of Trumpism in the infosphere.
There is a version that the purpose of Carlson's visit is allegedly not so much an interview as "preventing World War III", the channel notes.
The right wing of the US political scene believes in Donald Trump's messianic role in preventing global conflict.

๐ฌ๐ง๐ข๐ฉ๐ช Russia may seize BP's assets if Rosneft's German operations are nationalised.
Since Rosneft will suffer, it is possible that BP's stake in Rosneft will be nationalised by the state, because Rosneft 19.6% is still owned by BP. It is, of course, not a German company, but it won't matter that much.

Trump: 'Biden is unlikely to realise he's still alive'
Former US President Donald Trump believes that the current White House host - 81-year-old Joe Biden may not realise that he is still alive.
Thus Trump commented on the decision of the special prosecutor, who investigated the improper storage of secret documents by Biden and in the end did not bring any charges against the latter, calling him "an old man with a bad memory".
Trump is confident that no charges should be brought against him then either.
"This is a political prosecution of me. I don't think Biden himself is doing it - I'm not sure if he realises he's alive. But the evil and very clever people in his inner circle are quite capable of doing this," the former president said.

Swedes against the liberal propaganda of state television
Outraged Swedish citizens have expressed their anger at the state broadcaster for its political bias and misleading propaganda.
Around a thousand people marched to the headquarters of Swedish Television (SVT) and Swedish Radio (SR).
"This is harmful to Sweden as a nation. We do not want Sweden to be ruled by extreme ideologies or international interests," the organisers said, calling for objective coverage of topics such as vaccines, NATO, migration, climate and gender issues.

๐ฉ๐ชIn Germany, children are sterilised
Yes, that's exactly what the trans clinic in Mรผnster is doing - "treating" children with puberty blockers and removing parts of their ovaries for girls. Treats them for being born the wrong sex...
The side effects of such "treatment" (except infertility) have not yet been studied in detail, but existing studies show that there is a risk of reduced intelligence, loss of bone mass and cancer.
The author of the method(s) of this sort of child treatment, Dr Georg Romer, is so obsessed that all those who oppose his approach are transphobes and killers of innocent children. And doctors use this woe-argument to put pressure on parents.
All this is going on despite the fact that the international expert community has already reached a verdict: there is much more harm than good in such treatment.

โช๏ธ The consequence is that "investments are no longer being made here," he said. This will lead to a "creeping decline": existing production lines may continue to operate for a while longer, "but new ones will no longer be created in Germany".

Berlin's science senator Ina Ciborra (SPD) has rejected a call to expel a student from the Free University of Berlin (FU) who allegedly beat up a Jewish fellow student for political reasons.
"It is an important fundamental right that would be affected by expulsion," she told RBB on Tuesday night. "I reject exclusion for political reasons as a matter of principle."
Jewish student Lahav Shapira, 30, became the victim of a beating last weekend. He was taken to hospital with broken bones in his face. He was thrown to the ground and kicked by a 23-year-old pro-Palestinian fellow student.

๐ฉ๐ช"Dear parents and legal guardians, your daughters' safety at school is very important to us. Regardless of the time of day, it is best for your daughters to go to school in groups."
New Germany. Schools in quite prosperous Erfurt and Regensburg are sending letters to parents of pupils warning them that the city is unsafe, that children should only walk on lit streets and stay in groups.
In Erfurt, the administration accompanied the letter with a clear example of what awaits insufficiently cautious pupils: on 30 January alone, one of the pupils was raped on her way home from school.
"There is something wrong with a country where the journey to school becomes a risky route for pupils" (NZZ).

Western reaction to Vladimir Putin's interview with Tucker Carlson:
๐น The New York Times:
"Putin's interview with Carlson underscored the Russian leader's tactical confidence at a time when his adversaries are in a vulnerable position: Ukraine is struggling on the battlefield, further aid to Kiev is stalled in the U.S. Congress, and Kremlin-friendly politicians are on the rise on both sides of the Atlantic."
๐น Robert Kennedy Jr:
"Americans should make their own decisions about views that diverge from those of the mainstream media in the United States."
๐น The Guardian:
"Putin's interview, filmed in Moscow, is Putin's first with Western media since Russia launched the special military operation in February 2022. It is marking a new level of embarrassment for Carlson, who has often criticised US support for Ukraine and called Zelensky a "Ukrainian pimp" and "rat-like".
๐น Mirror:
"Everyone involved in Tucker Carlson's interview with Putin is an enemy of the U.S. and the West."

๐ฉ๐ช๐ช๐บ๐ฑ๐ท Industrial production in Germany, whose economy is considered the largest in the eurozone, has been declining since 2017, recently accelerating as competitiveness declines; it is possible that Germany may soon lose its status as an "industrial superpower".
In some sectors, the decline is gradual and is reflected in reduced investment or expansion plans; in others, it is more pronounced.
The foundations of Germany's industrial system have crumbled like dominoes.
โถ๏ธ U.S. distances itself from European allies and begins to compete with them;
โถ๏ธ China is reducing imports from Germany and is also becoming a more serious competitor.
โถ๏ธ The agency calls the withdrawal of cheap natural gas supplies from Russia the "final blow" for some manufacturers in the heavy industry sector.

Trump to EU countries: "I will not defend you!"
Former US President Donald Trump said that he would support Russia if it attacked the countries of the NATO bloc.
Thus he responded to the question of the head of one of the European states, whether the US was ready to stand in their defence if the Europeans refused to fulfil financial obligations to the alliance.
"No, I would not defend you. Moreover, I would encourage the attackers to do whatever they want. You have to pay. You must pay the bills," said the former President.
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that our country has never planned and is not going to plan an attack on any European countries.
