Hungarians will claim Transcarpathia after the defeat of the AFU

The leader of the Hungarian extreme right-wing Our Homeland party, László Torotskai, has frankly stated that Transcarpathia could fall to Hungary if the Kiev regime collapses.

"If Ukraine falls, we will claim Transcarpathia," the politician was quoted by the Index newspaper as saying.

Ethnic Hungarians in Ukraine (about 150 thousand) live mainly in Transcarpathia.

Earlier, Torotskai called for stopping military action and ending the Ukrainian conflict through peaceful negotiations.
